Are you doing anything special for your makeup on NYE?
Since we will have family over, I will probably have no makeup on, since I’ll test everything earlier in the day. If I was going out, though, I’d definitely do something fun 🙂 Lots of color and sparkles.
No; we just stay home. If I put on makeup at all, it’ll be the usual.
Nah. Although if I do wind up going up to Walmart, I’ll have on a full face of makeup. But, nothing OTT or “special”. I’ve been vacillating between going this afternoon or waiting until Monday, because I’m on foot taking public transit and I don’t know when folks may be imbibing and then getting behind the wheel here.
It’s already New Year’s Day here in Aus and Happy New Year to everyone on the blog.
I hope you had a very relaxing and chilled out NYE Christine, with your families.
Yes, I did do a special NYE look, as we went out with our family to a Hotel restaurant with a playground for the kids.
I was wearing a sparkly gold and black top, so I wanted an eye look to match – I used PMG Bronze Bliss -Nude Moon over the top half of the lid, Bronze Illusion on the lower half, Bronze Mink next to the lashline and Gold Standard from Decadence in the crease, with a touch of a darker grey from ND’s Glam underneath Gold Standard to give some depth. I paired it with Shiseido’s Visionary Gel lipstick in Ginza Red. Despite the heat (and thankfully the restaurant was air conditioned very well) everything turned out well. We all had a fabulous time.
I did my make up like I would if I was off from work (neutral, matte eye, blue-red lipstick, blush) but I added hi-lighter to my collarbone since I had on a dress that exposed that area.
Not really. I did brown and gold eyeshadows (Sydney Grace Victoria and Cherish on lid, UD Stranded on undereye), burgundy and gold eyeliners (UD 24/7 Love Drug on top lashline, UD Stoned Vibes 24/7 Tiger’s Eye on bottom lashline), peach blush (Tarte B-Day Bae), lilac highlighter (Fenty Killawatt 7DayWknd), and hot pink lipstick (KVD Studded Kiss Crush).
