These are really pretty – very celestial looking indeed 🙂
I just ordered them both! I got so excited that I went ahead before any reviews were out – which is a very rare thing lol. They look so gorgeous though, and the colors are definitely unique! I’m hoping they’ll work well with my fair skin.
Okay, I usually hate unusual highlighters and even *I* have to admit these are kinda pretty. 🙂
It’s a nice colour family…. I wonder if it will come to Sephora as well.
The Moonchild is so pretty but I am hesitating to buy it as I don’t know if I would be brave enough to use it!
I’m gonna be devil’s advocate here and say that you can always use these as eyeshadows as well!
OMG, these are beautiful! Definitely getting both?
Killing me here .. didn’t I just declare a h/l no buy? Moonchild!
I am in love… And the name! We need!
I wish that Moonchild palette were an eyeshadow palette! It’ll probably not be pigmented enough to use as such. Bummer; I love the color combination.
Norvina swatched Moonchild on Snap and they looked BOLD… You might still be able to see them if you look at her SnapChat story.
That was what I was thinking! I’m going to wait for swatches and see how they sound. They are the colours I go to a lot but don’t often find in a palette together.
This is why I love Anastasia…they dont hype up their products for months. They show the promo pics and release them after a couple of days. Awesome.
I’m with you on that. They don’t need any marketing tactics, they have all of Insta!
The Lucky Charms collection.
I just came here to say this. Thank me lucky charms that Anastasia made this highlighter palette!
Yaaayyy! They are really churning these out and I am not mad about it! ? Interesting that one is a 6-pan… Is there size information for that one? I don’t even see it on the ABH site. I’m super excited about Sweets even though Butterscotch looks like a lot of what I already have.
I’m in trouble…
I want both! Hopefully they will eventually end up on the Sephora Canada site
I really wish they would release the glow kit shades as individual pans. There are a few I really like, but enough colors I wouldn’t use that have kept me from biting the bullet. Marshmallow and Grape look right up my street.
When it says “exclusive to their site at this time”–does this mean they may come to Sephora at a later date?
They weren’t particularly clear on their Instagram – it said exclusive to their site, but then there was an asterisk after (I didn’t see it explained or clarified).
Very yes. Have been using MUFE crystal lines for highlighters. There are right up my street. Offbeat and subtle at once. Colored highlighter and colored mascara are small places for unexpected color. Big yes…and I have not gone ABH in anything yet, even mod ren.
I’m guessing that “intense pear” should read “intense PEARL” for Marshmallow. These look sublimely interesting and while Sweets Glow looks like shades I might be able to wear, Moonchild Glow looks far more interesting but I’m really not into looking like Tilda Swinton as the Ice Queen in the Narnia Chronicles and I fear that is exactly the result I’d get (minus her outrageous cheekbones!)
It’s written as pear on their site, and I honestly couldn’t decide if they meant pear or pearl!
I realized it was THEIR error (and a pretty big one)…looking at the product, reason would indicate that they meant “pearl” but spell check didn’t flag it since “pear” is a word also. But I guess they’ll try to cover it by saying “No, it is the colour of the inside of a pear, the flesh of the pear” (ummm, when most of us hear “banana”, we think “yellow”, not “peeled banana white”). I’m sure it’s an error on their part!
I have been there, lol, but I’ll be curious if they update it to pearl later! I’ll check in a couple of days.
Hmm, perhaps an iridescent white with a green shift? Now THAT would be so cool and very interesting!
I use Mac White Gold pigment as a highlighter sometimes and that’s basically what that is. 😀
Either would be tremendously exciting.
I love unusual (and blue!!) highlighters! I’ve collected quite a few loose pigment indie ones, but I love the idea of having a pressed palatte for easier travel use….. So tempting but I think I’ll wait for reviews and swatches 🙂
These are so pretty. I saw swatches on Instagram and wanted to buy but I think I will wait for reviews and see if this shows up at Sephora or Ulta.
I was scouring Insta for swatches, didn’t see any…
I believe it was the (controversial) TrendMood.
OMG, both of these speak to my weird heart. I held off on getting any of the other glow kits because I just felt “meh” about them, but these are so unique and lovely. I may just have to grab them.
Sweet Baby Jesus that’s gorrrrgeous!
/starry eyed
I really, REALLY hope that comes to Sephora…
Wow, finally some cool tones from Anastasia! Moonchild looks beautiful, but I think will be too icy pale white for me, but Sweet Glow looks interesting
I wanted to get both of them. However the site kept on telling me to verify the US shipping address (I’m in Canada). Oh wells…my wallet is happy.
Now if they ever come to Sephora Canada….
Will you be reviewing these? If so, any idea when? 😀
Ah, SWEETS!!! I am really glad to see some less common shades that my medium olive complexion could handle! Excited for swatches and reviews! ?
Moonchild also looks enticing, but probably more for cooler toned peeps who are either quite light or very dark.
I want Moonchild. Hopefully it will be still be in stock by next pay day. I have to buy some new parts for my car to pass DEQ. When the radiator blew, it must have fried the sensors. I need my car worse than makeup. Adulting sucks.
I got moonchild i am so excited! I saw swatches on IG and i just couldn’t resist. The colors are so unique. Purple horseshoe looks so amazing, I’m a sucker for anything purple! I have 1 abh glow kit(gleam) i absolutely love it, so fingers crossed the quality is the same.
Very celestial indeed! I feel these will be Instagram hits.
Just grabbed the Moonchild Glow Kit – am very, very excited for this. It needs to be on my face now!
Moonchild is a must have for me. I’m glad it stated face, eyes, and body 🙂
I don’t use highlighters but tempted to try Moonchild.
I want Moonchild! When (if) it lands at Sephora, I am BUYING IT. Then I just need contour powder (probably go back to my beloved, shattered-before-it’s-time Ben Nye lol). I like the packaging and shades, it’ll make my vampire self glowy. Forget all other highlighters for me LOL
On my coloring, I’d go for the warmer set, as I’m especially liking butterscotch and taffy. But I doubt I’d use the other two, so I’m not thinking I’ll spring for this.
Am impressed by Anastasia lately. Branching out to interesting products (I use the Modern Renaissance palette every day now), and I do like the no-drama/hype/frenzy launch style.
Omg, I was soooo excited when I saw these on instagram last night!!
I also saw swatches of both and I instantly fell in love with Sweets. I love the unusual colors in Moonchild, but since they are so cooltoned they probably look ashy on my skin tone. But that doesn’t make it less beautiful of course. I can’t wait to see all the looks that people will create with this new glow kit!
And Sweets.. That one left me mesmerized. I still have to figure out how I’m going to ship it to my country but I’m sure we’ll be together one day ?. I do have to say that except for the glitters, the packaging reminded me of That Glow. My friend was looking at the announcement on Anastasia’s IG and she also thought it was That Glow and when she looked again, it was Sweets! Or is it just me?
I think I will buy the Blue Palette just because it is soooo good looking.
Wow! Unusual and intriguing! Puts me in dreamtime …
Moonchild is what I’ve been dying for. I know some indie companies made a blue shifter every now and then, but a cohesive palette beats that by a mile. Here’s to blue highlights!
Bought them earlier today! They are so flipping pretty! I cannot wait to get them, I think with the right primer they can def be used as eyeshadows too. They remind me a little of the Jouer mermaid collection that I missed out on.
The pans look a lot smaller than the ABH Glow Kit pans (which are completely huge compared to most highlighter pans)..
Wow these are interesting colors
These look really cute, but I’m looking at my not insignificant cheek colour collection and thinking “Another one…nope, don’t need”, but oh, they’re so pretty!
Just gorgeous.
Yay! Anastasia didn’t leave us pink, pale girls out! I’m so happy there’s finally a highlighting kit that will actually work with my undertone! 😀
I love the fall glowkit, but i’m wondering if it’s not to ashy for a NW45 … ( moreover i wanted the other glowkit but i will be too ashy i’m sure ! )
Ordered the moonchild one, omg it’s so pretty, can’t wait to try it out!
Oh man that Sweets glow kit is beautiful! I already have that glow ki, and I use it often. But the colours in Sweets look more unique and 3/4 of those colours would be fantastic for me. I guess I could use the 4th one, marshmallow on the inner corners of my eyes….if this comes to Sephora Canada, it will be mine. ?
Ok, I think there are enough highlighters in the world. There. I said it. 🙂
Don’t mind the sound, it’s just my internal screaming.
Seriously, though, I’m more than in love with Moonchild and Sweets is coming perilously close to my heart. Bye bye, budget!
Love Moonchild especially if you want ice cold highlight! 🙂
I don’t wear highlighter enough to justify this, but I love that Moonchild has such unusual colors. I’ve had a couple of Looxi’s more unusual highlighters on my maybe list for a long time, but can’t bring myself to make a decision.
Does anyone know when this will be on Sephora.ca or .com? I’m from canada and don’t really want to pay 75 CAD when It’s only 40 bucks
I wish I could just buy Sassy Grape separately!! I am loving the purplish/blueish tones to it so I bought Moonchild and I’ so excited!!
So is this really limited edition? Because i read some other articles and they think its permanent, they say abh wouldve definitely made it clear on the website. Can someone please let me know if it is permanent? theres talk of it coming in stores so id rather wait for that so i can swatch it in person. Either way im sold on both palettes!
Norvina said they were limited edition, and they are considering making them permanent, but they were and remain LE at this time. She also said there are no plans for them to be in store.
i whnt to gat the Anastasia Fall 2016 Glow Kits but im in hk. where can i get this eyeshadow?
Thank you very much for reviewing and swatching both palettes. I just ordered Moonchild, but am a bit hesitant to order The Sweets Glow Kit. In your opinion, is the Sweets palette similar to That Glow kit or to Tarte blushes: Glisten and Dazzled? Would Taffy and Sassy Grape be comparable to Glisten and Dazzled by Tarte? Or similar to Blushing Bride blush by Tarte? Again, thank you for blogging!
