We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I just ordered them both! I got so excited that I went ahead before any reviews were out – which is a very rare thing lol. They look so gorgeous though, and the colors are definitely unique! I’m hoping they’ll work well with my fair skin.

Norvina swatched Moonchild on Snap and they looked BOLD… You might still be able to see them if you look at her SnapChat story.

Jo Avatar

That was what I was thinking! I’m going to wait for swatches and see how they sound. They are the colours I go to a lot but don’t often find in a palette together.

Leah Avatar

This is why I love Anastasia…they dont hype up their products for months. They show the promo pics and release them after a couple of days. Awesome.

Julia Avatar

Yaaayyy! They are really churning these out and I am not mad about it! ? Interesting that one is a 6-pan… Is there size information for that one? I don’t even see it on the ABH site. I’m super excited about Sweets even though Butterscotch looks like a lot of what I already have.

Lea Avatar

I really wish they would release the glow kit shades as individual pans. There are a few I really like, but enough colors I wouldn’t use that have kept me from biting the bullet. Marshmallow and Grape look right up my street.

kjh Avatar

Very yes. Have been using MUFE crystal lines for highlighters. There are right up my street. Offbeat and subtle at once. Colored highlighter and colored mascara are small places for unexpected color. Big yes…and I have not gone ABH in anything yet, even mod ren.

I’m guessing that “intense pear” should read “intense PEARL” for Marshmallow. These look sublimely interesting and while Sweets Glow looks like shades I might be able to wear, Moonchild Glow looks far more interesting but I’m really not into looking like Tilda Swinton as the Ice Queen in the Narnia Chronicles and I fear that is exactly the result I’d get (minus her outrageous cheekbones!)

Mariella Avatar

I realized it was THEIR error (and a pretty big one)…looking at the product, reason would indicate that they meant “pearl” but spell check didn’t flag it since “pear” is a word also. But I guess they’ll try to cover it by saying “No, it is the colour of the inside of a pear, the flesh of the pear” (ummm, when most of us hear “banana”, we think “yellow”, not “peeled banana white”). I’m sure it’s an error on their part!

These are so pretty. I saw swatches on Instagram and wanted to buy but I think I will wait for reviews and see if this shows up at Sephora or Ulta.

Wow, finally some cool tones from Anastasia! Moonchild looks beautiful, but I think will be too icy pale white for me, but Sweet Glow looks interesting

evo Avatar

I wanted to get both of them. However the site kept on telling me to verify the US shipping address (I’m in Canada). Oh wells…my wallet is happy.

Now if they ever come to Sephora Canada….

Trina Avatar

I got moonchild i am so excited! I saw swatches on IG and i just couldn’t resist. The colors are so unique. Purple horseshoe looks so amazing, I’m a sucker for anything purple! I have 1 abh glow kit(gleam) i absolutely love it, so fingers crossed the quality is the same.

Anne Avatar

On my coloring, I’d go for the warmer set, as I’m especially liking butterscotch and taffy. But I doubt I’d use the other two, so I’m not thinking I’ll spring for this.
Am impressed by Anastasia lately. Branching out to interesting products (I use the Modern Renaissance palette every day now), and I do like the no-drama/hype/frenzy launch style.

Arantxa Avatar

Omg, I was soooo excited when I saw these on instagram last night!!
I also saw swatches of both and I instantly fell in love with Sweets. I love the unusual colors in Moonchild, but since they are so cooltoned they probably look ashy on my skin tone. But that doesn’t make it less beautiful of course. I can’t wait to see all the looks that people will create with this new glow kit!

And Sweets.. That one left me mesmerized. I still have to figure out how I’m going to ship it to my country but I’m sure we’ll be together one day ?. I do have to say that except for the glitters, the packaging reminded me of That Glow. My friend was looking at the announcement on Anastasia’s IG and she also thought it was That Glow and when she looked again, it was Sweets! Or is it just me?

Stephanie Avatar

Moonchild is what I’ve been dying for. I know some indie companies made a blue shifter every now and then, but a cohesive palette beats that by a mile. Here’s to blue highlights!

Jenn Avatar

Bought them earlier today! They are so flipping pretty! I cannot wait to get them, I think with the right primer they can def be used as eyeshadows too. They remind me a little of the Jouer mermaid collection that I missed out on.

Claire L Avatar

These look really cute, but I’m looking at my not insignificant cheek colour collection and thinking “Another one…nope, don’t need”, but oh, they’re so pretty!

Primpcess Avatar

Oh man that Sweets glow kit is beautiful! I already have that glow ki, and I use it often. But the colours in Sweets look more unique and 3/4 of those colours would be fantastic for me. I guess I could use the 4th one, marshmallow on the inner corners of my eyes….if this comes to Sephora Canada, it will be mine. ?

Alecto Avatar

I don’t wear highlighter enough to justify this, but I love that Moonchild has such unusual colors. I’ve had a couple of Looxi’s more unusual highlighters on my maybe list for a long time, but can’t bring myself to make a decision.

e mac Avatar

Does anyone know when this will be on Sephora.ca or .com? I’m from canada and don’t really want to pay 75 CAD when It’s only 40 bucks

Shawna Avatar

I wish I could just buy Sassy Grape separately!! I am loving the purplish/blueish tones to it so I bought Moonchild and I’ so excited!!

Cara Avatar

So is this really limited edition? Because i read some other articles and they think its permanent, they say abh wouldve definitely made it clear on the website. Can someone please let me know if it is permanent? theres talk of it coming in stores so id rather wait for that so i can swatch it in person. Either way im sold on both palettes!

Laura-Fatimah Avatar

Thank you very much for reviewing and swatching both palettes. I just ordered Moonchild, but am a bit hesitant to order The Sweets Glow Kit. In your opinion, is the Sweets palette similar to That Glow kit or to Tarte blushes: Glisten and Dazzled? Would Taffy and Sassy Grape be comparable to Glisten and Dazzled by Tarte? Or similar to Blushing Bride blush by Tarte? Again, thank you for blogging!
