I bought 10 when they launched as four were not yet in stock, so here are swatches of those 10! The formula is supposed to have a “super glossy” finish with a balm-like formula that “melts” and has a “pigmented kiss of color.”

Whoa I wasn’t expecting that level of pigment when I clicked on swatches!
These look absolutely amazing and so pretty! Probably could only use them during our cooler part of the year in our harsh local environment, though. Or risk having a gooey mess in our bag!
My favorites are: The Cranberries, Kiwi Fuzz, and Cherry Good.

They certainly live up to their description about being glossy and the shade range is quite varied. With the lip balm factor in them, they would be quite good for winter.

It’ll be very interesting to read the reviews on these. I have a feeling I’d make a mess as I can’t help rubbing and pressing my lips together. I try to stop, but with anything to much like a balm or a bit slippery I keep doing it. So annoying.
I do like the colours. I’d pick Dragonfruit Passion and Berry Smash.
I hope this type of formula continues to gain popularity, and I’m thrilled to see bright colors!
In 2022 I fell in love with the look of Makeup by Mario Moistureglow on my lips (though admittedly I could do without the “plumping effect”), but the colors available were all too similar. This About Face release looks right up my alley!
Ugh oh. I sense a future large order coming.
These probably won’t be for everyone, but as someone with chronically dry lips and a love of bright lipsticks, I’m pretty interested in seeing how these perform! I’ve been pretty impressed with About Face so far, I have a few of the matte eye paints and one of the liquid highlighters.
