Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

its up to how i feel and how much time i got. there are days when i can make really artistic make up and days when no matter what i do and how much i try everything looks messed up… i was more into make up few years ago when it was just kind of my hobby so then i would call myself an artist but then i stopped for some time so now im kinda out of practice but tryin hard to be good in it again 🙂

I’m not a make up artist, however it doesn’t stop me from loving me some make up!
I haven’t had practice at putting it on other people, but luckily I’m good at putting it on myself.

When it comes to applying liquid/gel eyeliner and shadow, yes – I consider myself to be an artist. But I have a long way to go with regard to contouring and concealing though…

I feel as though I have the inner gift of artistry…but all thumbs when it comes to application:( No matter how hard I try to perfect my make-up when I step back to admire my finished product it never ever looks like the picture that I was trying to copy, or the tut I was following. Not sure if its lack of experinece or understanding but the art I seek to create never comes out artful.

LoL no way!!! I would love to just be able to do make up like you or any other makeup artists but even with your tutorials- which are fantastic by the way- I CAN’T!!! Huff…

haha not at all…i usually get around 4-6 hours of sleep a night and i wear makeup for the sole purpose of not looking dead… so the extent of my abilities ends at the basic eyeliner/blush application.

Well i dont consider MYSELF an artist when it comes to makeup but i do consider makeup an art for sure.. it takes alot of talent and a very trained hand to do some of the looks that famouse makeup artist do. So as a whole i consider makeup an art for sure.
