Mascara. I can apply it wonderfully!
Nice, Stella! To-die-for lashes are always an asset!
Liquid liner! Most people have trouble with this one, but I’ve learned to do it quite well.
Ohh, lucky you, Liz!
I thought I was good with makeup because I’ve never used pencil eyeliner before – I started with liquid right from the beginning. Mascara is a piece of cake for me and my art of concealing, not that I’m bragging, is fabulous.
But recently, I’m trying to come up with a pink look for my prom and I’m stumped… STUMPED!!! U MUST HELP ME!!!~ OH GOD!!! I don’t know if its the quality of the eyeshadow (I’m using MAC) or my skill or my choice of colour or the brush I’m using (MAC too), I cannot seem to look right!!!
What intensity of pink are you looking for? Lighter pinks i think pink opal is beautiful and I love the pink from the BLM collection I cant remember the name right now. A darker shade Bright Fuschia is awesome but applied lightly as very little goes a loooong way! Do you have the cool eye palette from the Holiday Collection that has a lovely shade of pink too!
Hey Cosine! What products are you using?
Hey I tried using MAC’s holiday cool eye palette, MAC’s eye glitter in pinkphonic and also the Bobbi Brown Pink Quartz Palette. I’m thinking of having a glittery baby pink look to match my clutch and my shoes. Is it too much to match them like that? Or should I match it to my gown instead? It’s a Shelli Segal gown in midnight blue.
You could do a light pale pink on the lid, and a touch of smoky black or even a dark blue (like Deep Truth or Contrast) in the crease. Nothing too over the top.
I’ll try that tomorrow! Thanks! Love u! Muackz
PS: ur website rocks! Love all the tutorials and the intensive attention paid to MAC!
I’d say eyeliners, both liquid & cream.
Awesome, Ashley 🙂
i would have to say lipstick, i can apply it flawlessly without looking in the mirror
Ohh! That is a talent!
I would say Fluidliners! I have gotten many compliments on my blending techniques and for that I must honestly Thank You!
Oh, awesome, Jeni! I love the fluidline texture.
Aww, my pleasure 🙂
I think I’m pretty darn good at putting together “natural looks.” The kind that take like 20 products and 30 minutes, but look like subtle makeup…until you see a “before” picture.
But if you give me bold colors, eye or lip, I lose my touch and things get messy real fast! it’s still fun though.
Nothing– I like to think theres always room for improvement
I agree with you Nicole, I don’t feel as though I have any one thing mastered. I envy you perfect liner girls 🙂 But I love trying to improve and this site really has and is super helpful with that.
I’ll be brief 🙂 Eyes – thanks to Christine and Temptalia site 🙂
Aw, I’m happy to have helped you in some way, Madeleine!
It’s eyeliner for me too – liquid, gel, creme, pencil – all of them. It takes a lot of practice to get there but it’s so worth the effort. I sometimes use three different products (one color to tightline, another on the upper lid/waterline and pencil on the lower lashline) to get the look I want and can complete it in less than two minutes now.
Looks like we have a lot of liner pros here at Temptalia!
