That green is gorgeous
These are so tempting, yeah? The purple and green ones caught my eye!
The green & sky blue are soooo pretty.
The sky blue is lookin’ mighty gorg!
I wonder how these compare to Fluidlines? Black would be my colour 😉
They do look similar, though they almost look like paint pots, too!
Shu Uemura’s new eyeliners look awesome! The colors are striking, and a creamy liner like this is less likely to run in the hot weather. I might not be able to resist adding the purple to my makeup bag…
Yep, they definitely timed this launch/promotion right – summer is the perfect time for gel liners.
They look very seducing, I especially love the gold. I wonder if how comparable to mac fluideline they are and if they will be available in France.
I’m definitely wondering the same thing, Nathalie!
They are way more pigmented than Fluidline Nathalie! Especially the frost ones. You can also control the pigmentation by how much you apply too.
Oh, wow, they sound awesome!
Aww! I hope they reach France someday! <3
Aw!
I got the Purple and Midnight Blue last month! I looove them. They’re much easier to work with as compared to MAC Fluidlines IMO.
How is the wear time? Pigmentation?
I feel they’re lighter, more gel than cream.
I had the purple on my waterline and I went clubbing one night. There wasn’t any obvious smudging from what I can tell and the colour remained vibrant as I applied it at the beginning of the night. Though I find the purple needs to be layered rather than applying a thick amount.
Compared to the night blue, one layer of the liner is more pigmented. Obviously it’s because it’s matte and the purple is a metallic. I love the night blue because of the pigmentation and the long wear attributes.
I did a review here: http://meandmycolours.blogspot.com/2009/04/review-shu-uemura-painting-liner.html
In that review, I mentioned that these liners takes a while to dry if you apply thick amounts. So it’s much better to layer the liner and apply in sections to ensure even application.
Thanks so much for the review, Fie 🙂
Thank you for the review, Fie!
I wonder if the white one would work on the waterline!
Me too!
I’m really loving that purple liner!
Same here, Meagan!
I bought the silver one and it is amazing! I normally wear pearl liners at the inner corner, which would disappear in the afternoon (I wear contact, I rub!!), whereas Shu silver stayed put all day, all night! It is really pigmented too!
Thanks so much for letting us know about this, Natalie!
They aren’t limited edition,are they?
No, I don’t believe so!
Oeeee these look very nice, especially the white one!
I’m so excited to try these!
