Most definitely. I find myself regularly checking up beauty blogs to keep myself up to date on new beauty products, to learn more about beauty, etc. In my opinion, waking up in the morning has got to be the most exciting time of the day since that’s when I get to think about what make up to wear LOL! I also spend some of my free-time playing with make up and shopping for it 🙂
I follow this blog so in a way I inherantly might be one of them! Eh.
I love beauty products, make up above all. Sure. As for body care, I cannot say I feel the same. I am very into natural, bio and simply things such as Marseille soap, Aleppo soap, cornwflower water, rose water, kaolin powder, shea butter, etc… so that’s not me you’ll see trying very complicated body lotions, face tratments, deodorants and all kind of manufactured body products – all this mostly due to allergies and eczema problems that I’ve pushed in the past, thanks to natural and simple products.
But for what is about make up, yeah I love. No I ADORE playing with it and check new collections of brands I like. I am also always curious to see girls making up on youtube and even on here on Temptalia. It’s so much fun and refreshing to see so many girls sensitive to the beauty of their face. That said, I have always kept a very secret attitude toward make up, even some (unwanted) mystery. I don’t mind talking about it on here to strangers who don’t even read my replies anyway but I wouldn’t see myself making a tutorial and wouldn’t see myself talking about all this with people I know in real life (my sister apart maybe). If someone ever was beginning to talk about make up and how they loved it, I was curling up inside, uncomfortable. It’s really my secret garden.
I am a 100% addict. I love hauling. I love talking about make up, and I love playing with make up.
i dont know if im a beauty addict. probably am. i read product reviews all the time and purchase whatever i hear alot about (if it’s affordable). i’m more of a MAC addict than a general beauty addict, though. im pretty brand loyal if a line does right repeatedly.
I definately am an addict. And with this recession its been torture not to buy anything from these last collections. But I’ve been good.
Yes! Lately, I have trouble falling asleep because I can’t decide what to do with my eyes the next day… or I’ll wake up really early and start thinking about it, and then can’t fall back asleep. It’s bad 🙁
I’ve only started getting into MAC and experimenting with different looks a few months ago, so I need to build up a solid collection, which makes the addiction and spending worse!!

I would say yes and no. Just because if I was a true beauty addict I would get up early so I can do my make up and etc but I don’t since I am lazy and would rather get sleep. But I do enjoy reading, watching videos, actually doing it so…

Yes I am a beauty addict. Ever since I’ve watch many gurus on Youtube about any beauty product(s) that are recommended for whatever skin type you have and been a MAC addict since last year. Trying to cut down purchases so that I don’t go overboard.
Yes, I’ve been going full steam ahead the last 3 months. I went from next to none in eye shadows to 200 shadows in 3 months. I just completed my neutral MAC palette and I’ve gone completely MAC pigment crazy. I have about 30 now.
The good thing is my makeup addiction is much cheaper than my shoe addiction even with 60% being MAC so far. I’m pretty picky about shoes, but I’ll slap down 300.00 on some boots in a hot minute. This is a way cheaper addiction. hahaha

Completely! I’d rather buy make up than anything else 🙂 I justify it by the fact that because the packages are smaller – they take up less room than shoes (not that i don’t have a tonne of heels as well lol)
Of course I do..I just Love, love, Love different types of products. I love to change my looks, I get bored with myself so, I may dye my hair or change makeup products just to keep things going and keep things spicy..most of all I’m a Woman..I just love being a girl, we can do anything..

I would consider myself a make up addicts and have been one for the past 7 years.
100% a severe beauty addict. i live, breath, & dream beauty items. from skincare to makeup to hair. i just love it & enjoy every aspect of it. my daughter even seems to be following in my footsteps. she loves to oooh & ahhh at shadow swatches i do on her arm. being she’s young, she thinks browns & blacks are ugly so she constantly wants me to put on bright colors. she even has a mini train case so she can be just like mommy. right now it’s filled with just mini glitter polishes & disney princess glosses. very cute, but scary cause she’s only 4 yrs. old. Eeeek! I’m creating a mini-addict! LOL 🙂 Who knows, maybe my addiction will give her the green light to be expressive with makeup & enjoy it as art!!
Yeah, if I didn’t budget well I reckon I could go mad with makeup hauls haha! I must check Temptalia 5 times a day and go on YT every day, Twitter about makeup related stuff in the evenings and Blog whenever I can! :p x

yes an avid one. i wasnt always though, i started about in december 2008, and started looking on this site (teptalia) and you tube , always on the lookout for what makeup is popular tha i should try out. i am a mac collector and it has gotten worse since watching this. my cc has gotten so high since then , this and YT is my daily lookat. im always thinking about what stuff i want to get next – so yes i would say that is an addict! BTW my boyfriend hates me wearing makeup, he thinks i look better without it, but i think its just so fun to do a diff look everyday.
Yeah, completely. I think not just the beauty related to wellness, makeup, fragrances, fashion and all the stuff commercially and advertised as “Beauty”, but I am addicted for the beauty in all its senses, in the art, in the literature, in the paiting, cinema and so many areas. I love to stare what is beautiful for my soul and heart.
Ohh yes I’m very much a beauty addict. Funny thing is, it only happened over the last six months. I spend most of my spare time looking things up on the internet and cruising stores to see what I can find. I’m even driving my friends crazy!!
This exactly how I started and then I started buying all my brushes first. After I got all my brushes…I went e/s/p and p/p crazy.
It’s all relative; compared to my girlfriends not really. But compared to my engineering/welding/machining guy friends, then yes, very much so!

In a way, because I’m into it a lot more than others, I have a good sized collection, and I spend so much time researching and reading about it. But not really an “addict” because I won’t buy products if I have something similar, if won’t use it, just because I think it’s “cute,” or if I just don’t have the money (some rack up debt on their credit crack). I’m not one of those people who will buy the entire mac collection (because of the amount of money it would cost and you would end up not getting good use out of products if you have too many).
I definitely consider myself a makeup addict. I’ve been wearing makeup since 7th grade. I check Temptalia everyday, watch YouTube makeup videos, enjoy reading beauty blogs, and even dream about makeup. I’m also a beauty snob and really only like high end makeup. Mac is my brand of choice, however, I’m not manogamous and will also dip into Urban Decay, Too Faced, and a couple other brands. I don’t buy whole new collections–I just buy my must-haves out of the collections. My dream job would to be a beauty editor and review and receive new makeup and get paid to do it!!

I go through phases, though, from really obsessive to steadly interested.
I have my favorite products and staple items, but I really love to try new products with stunning colors or new, proven ingredients.

I’m the kind of person who, when they start liking something, it usually goes to the extreme and obsesses about it until that phase is over, but i doubt my makeup phase is going to end very soon 🙂
I really like playing with and looking at the collections that MAC has out, or even Sephora.
I am definitely addicted! It’s fun but really a waste of money. I’m a painter and I love color and creativity so I’ve always been into makeup and combining colors.
Yes, definitely, but I certainly have a life outside of makeup, and can go without it for… two months and counting (although I’m missing it like crazyyyyy, let me tell you!). But it’s just so much fun, and so irresistible… *sigh*
