Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Lotion Takes Me to Tropic Paradise

Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Lotion ($22.00 for 16 fl. oz.) is a recent product addition to Pacifica’s product line-up. They are, perhaps, more known for their amazingly scented and long-lasting candles, but they’ve been slowly introducing scented beauty products to coordinate with their full array of scents.

Pacifica as a brand will always hold a special place in my heart, because they were one of the first brands to support Temptalia. It helps that I’m never disappointed whenever I try their products! (Even my parents–including my Dad, who hates all things scented–love Pacifica candles!)

The Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Lotion is exactly what tropical paradise smells like–or at least what scent evokes images of sandy beaches, pina coladas, and a hot cabana boy. You can easily note the coconut, as well as the underlaying guava and pomelo–kind of a tropical fruit scent without being cloying or overly sweet. As a body lotion, it moisturizers and hydrates my scaly legs well. To be honest, I love the scent so much I’d still use this even if it moisturized just adequately.

The Body Lotion contains several ingredients designed to better your skin. It has chamomile extract, safflower oil, shea butter, and sweet almond oil–all ingredients that work together to give you soothed, supple skin. For those looking for more natural beauty products, Pacifica’s Body Lotions are formulated without GMO, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic dyes, and triclosan. It is a 100% vegan product, and it is not tested on animals.

So if I can’t make it to tropical paradise this summer, at least I can blend myself a non-alcoholic pina colada, lotion up with this, and close my eyes and pretend!

If you love the scent as much as me, you might want to check out the full range of Hawaiian Ruby Guava scented products, which includes Solid Perfume ($9.00), Body Butter ($15.00), Body Wash ($18.00), Soy Candle ($16.00), Travel Set ($14.00).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities!
