We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

A TRULY hypoallergenic matte purple eyeshadow (anything but pastel/very light shades). They all give me conjunctivitis. Also the same in a true red shade.
Honestly, I can’t think of a color that I am actively searching for but I am sure I will know I need it as soon as I see it. I am always attracted to greens and mostly green/golds but a lot of them are formulated on a black base which makes working with them a bit more tricky as they can muddy quickly. I know I am looking for a replacement of the old Shiseido shadow that I have mentioned here on the blog, many times. It was called Silkspun Greengold. It was like my perfect green color and I used it with the perfect deep grey black “eyeliner” from Clinique. Finding either of them again would be amazing.
I’m still looking for a great yellow matte eyeshadow formula.
I still enjoy my Make Up For Ever satin single eyeshadows. They work particularly well for layering multichromes.
If it exists, it’s at least pretty likely that I either have it or something near enough to fill the void. Any yet, I keep getting more! Admittedly, I have slowed down significantly, though.
For my twin sister, I am still looking out for a matte mid tone taupe with a slightly purplish hue to it. Laura Mercier had a single out that was closest to the shade that she liked, but it was a bit too purplish. It is hard to find and I only want a single.
As for me, I am pretty well covered for all of the shades I like and use – perhaps a true medium toned green blue teal – not too dark and not too green or blue….
A replacement for MAC Humid… although you never know when MAC brings it back
The matte shade MAC Shadowy Lady, in an A+ quality
I’ve been looking for a dark brown shimmery eyeshadow. I’ve tried way too many brands and shades of brown. They either pull copper, gold, orange even purple on my skin ( med. neutral) My favorite is MUFE silver brown and of course it’s been discontinued..
As I mentioned on Instagram too, I’d very much like an olive-blueberry duochrome shade. I’m not hunting for it, but it would be nice. Especially one that doesn’t crease, wears at least 6 hours and isn’t think (like a foil-, but still have the shine.
Wattles by colourpop – desperately searching for a dupe!!
