We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! The Rouge Coco Bloom lipstick (150) Ease will be mine if it reviews well.
I’m seeing some things that I love, but may not need at the end of the day. But; Beige Rouge looks pretty similar to my favorite UD Afterglow Blush in Rapture that’s almost gone. So, perhaps that one item?
The eyeshadows don’t look terribly exciting, but I like the tree names!
Thank you for posting the swatches. I have a couple other pieces from the collections and I wanted to pick one of these shadows.I’m ow leaning towards Chene Brun. I vowed no more lipsticks, but those are looking so pretty.
Interesting that Chanel is going back to single eyeshadow – although you can’t go wrong with SG’s singles. The shade selection is the kind that you would see living in most Autumn palettes though.
Kind, Warmth and Bright lipsticks are very similar in colour, Wild looks that bit different in a good way.
Im intrigued by those loose eyeshadows because the colors are pretty. But I’ve never used such a product before.
Bois d’amaranthe looks amazing to me – hope the review is good and that I don’t have dupes!!
What’s the advantage of a loose eyeshadow though?
None in this case, omg.
Am i the only one who thinks the Rouge Coco Bloom lipsticks are too soft? I find them very difficult to work with.
The Chanel releases used to make by heart beat faster but for the past 1,5 years now, I can’t find the words for their releases. Normally I’m pretty opionionated so it’s a strange feeling, not knowing what to think of these. I guess it’s “great, you did something different” (like these loose eyeshadows, the oversized blush-eyeshadow quads, the green-red-gold-white byzantine palette, the very orange-toned holiday collection 2022) but on the otherhand, it’s “who wants this” (an overpriced single eye-shadow that is difficult to apply; giant pans of red eyeshadow; ugly Christmas sweater colorstory in a $70 eyeshadow palette; shimmery cheetos look for the holidays). Full disclosure, I did pick up one of the lip lacques from last year’s holiday collection, so there are good products in launches that overall are not exciting to me.
Depending on which YouTuber’s you watch, the loose eye shadow pigments are either being panned or they are wonderful. It looks like the application is pretty messy and some admitted to having fall out throughout the day. I didn’t see them when I was in Seattle so can’t speak to them but the lippies are wonderful and the blushes are nice. Nothing in the release that is a must have though. I like the Beige Rose Et Mauve blush but the question is whether I could apply it with a light enough hand. I like the lippie in Wild and think it would be a great fall/winter shade.
Interesting!
I wonder how well the lose eyeshadows will sell. I’ve always thought the regular Chanel cosmetics customer wanting the finished quad, and easy to use pressed eyeshadows. Maybe this is just my imagination from the customers I’ve seen during my long shopping sessions years ago when I did shop at the Chanel counter but also at a lot of other counters at the big department stores.
I quite like the look of Murier Noir and Beige Roes et Mauve.
I also like the look of Wild.
I bought 402 and 404. While I really love the wear and soft-glow finish, it’s pretty messy. If you put them in a makeup bag and put them in your purse or in any situation where they move around, be prepared for a lot of powder to fall out everywhere when you open it.
thanks for this information! I think you just saved me $40 🙂
