Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).
We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I have my palettes by brand in a drawer, my singles and liquid shadows in a plastic storage box in the same drawer, my eyeliners and eyeshadow pencils in glass cups inside another drawer next to my cups with brushes
Well, what used to be my “sock” drawer got overtaken by almost all of my eyeshadow palettes, for one thing. There’s more e/s palettes in a large sterlite drawer, quads of MAC Pro Pan quads in a tray on top of my dresser, some of my favorite palettes (or ones in heavy rotation) next to my work area on top of my dresser, color eyeliners in a tri-compartment pencil/pen holder, mascara, liquid liner, jumbo waterproof pencils are right next to my Simplehuman mirror.
First of all, I have my eyebrow pencil and mascara in the stand where I keep my eye brushes so they are easy to reach.
As far as my eye quad and palettes are concerned – I have two large makeup bags. One has neutral palettes in it and the other is for ‘colourful’ ones. Not a perfect system, but it works well for me. I keep my singles in a smaller bag.
All live in my ensuite bathroom.
I have an acrylic rack thing and I go by size of the palette (biggest in back to smallest in front). Singles I just keep in a smaller acrylic container. Eye liners go in a little cup, mascaras/primer/black liner I keep in my little makeup makeup bag.
My large palettes are stored in a drawer in an antique cabinet in my bedroom. All of my smaller palettes, Dior, Chanel, TF are organized together by brand and stored in the same cabinet but in a smaller drawer. My liners are stored in glass containers on my vanity. All of my eye brushes are stored in glass containers on my vanity. I am planning on getting rid of a lot of my cheaper brushes as I don’t use them and for those who have known me for awhile, you likely remember that I don’t clean my brushes except to swirl them off on a tissue or a MONA brush cleaner. So, I don’t need a ton of brushes. I have some Hakuhoda, Sonia G, Wayne Goss, MAC and Rephr brushes which I will keep. I am also using a lot of foam brushes which I purchased off of Amazon/Ebay that I am using for concealer, applying glitter and certain shadows that just apply with a foam applicator. Who would have thought I would be back to foam brushes? I keep my glitter glue, eye shadow primer and mascara in the drawer of my vanity which is where I store stuff in heavy rotation. I almost always wear two mascara’s but I am still struggling to find a combo I like since returning to makeup. I am currently using a combination of Cover Girl mascara’s but don’t like either one. I have been looking forward to going to Seattle to see if I can pick up a few testers to determine if I would like one of the more recent mascara launches. I use to go for really clumpy, spidery lashes and now I am looking for a more fanned out, long look. I am still having flaking and raccoon eye problems.
I have an everyday makeup drawer with 5 or so palettes that I switch out and rotate. The rest of my palettes are tossed in a drawer in my bedroom without any specific organization.
Since most are in pallets, I take out (from a storage truck used as deco in my room) the palettes I will use based on the season (thus essentially by color scheme or a few that have a couple of colors I us often). My singles are in MUFE tins (I soo like them and still think they are the best for travel and singles) which are located in an acrylic drawer. The singles in the MUFE tin palettes are organized by color.
Ha! Sorry autocorrect error pallets = palettes!
