Not often enough. I used to use MAC Painterly as my “regular” (as opposed to long or hot, sweaty) day primer but not so much recently. Groundwork, Painterly and Constructivist were my fave cream shadows but I’ve not used any of them in some time and I really should before they become unusable. L’Oreal and Lise Watier have “pot” shadows that are more cream-to-powder and seem to retain their good qualities over the years.

Sad to say, but I don’t even think that I have done even one eye look in 3½ weeks now. So, I would have to put “rarely”.
And a huge amount of my changes in how often I even do a full face of makeup depends on the allergy eye tearing making me just feel defeated, plus, there’s not as much getting out and about as when I lived in Scottsdale and Phoenix, either.

I use them about twice a week to have a lazy day! They are so much faster than my usual eyeshadow routine. I really like Bobbi Brown’s eyeshadow sticks as well as Tarte’s dual-ended ones with coordinated eyeliners. I’d get bored if that’s all I used, though.

Not often at all, it has been a hot minute. I used to use cream eyeshadows a bit more some years ago. The Maybelline 24h color tattoo cream eyeshadows (applied on top of a primer, of course) did give depth and helped with the longevity underneath powder eyeshadow, though. I would be open to trying that again, if I could dedicate the same amount of time into a makeup look than I used to!

I don’t own any powdered eyeshadow anymore and haven’t in probably 3 years, so if I’m wearing makeup then I’m wearing cream shadow. MAC Groundwork is my everyday, ColourPop Wattles SSS was also one of my holy grails which they discontinued for a while but I think it’s back? I recently picked up a few of the Moira shimmer pots which so far I’m enjoying but I haven’t formed a firm opinion yet. I also really enjoy the Thrive shadow sticks and the CT Eyes to Mesmerize line. Pretty much I’m all about the one-n-done lazy approach.

I live in hot, humid South Florida (heat index 105-107 ) and wear Sephora Collection Sheer Liquid Eyeshadows frequently. They’re quick, easy and allow enough time to blend (use Sephora Concealer brush) but dry to a budge proof finish. I. Use alone or as a base for powder shadows. Just hoping they’re not discontinued, been on sale for a while.

Often, sorta, but I do not own any pot versions. LM caviar stick is a staple in my bag I reach for often for a 1 & done look or as a base. After recently watching a certain MUA’s tutorials, I’ve been loving using cream bronzer as an eyeshadow and/or base. Which has lead me to explore trying cream blushes for same.

I use the shadow sticks about once or twice a week for a quick look although TBH, my favorite part of my makeup is usually my eyeshadow so I often take extra time for them. But, when I am going to work and I know it will be a long day then I do a more conservative (i.e. neutrals) and like my sticks. I have recently been enjoying some Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercer ones. I used to use a MAC Paint Pot regularly as my under powder shadow primer but I can’t be arsed with that now that I have sticks that are applied straight from the container and don’t have to get messy fingers or grimey brushes. If I wanted something more enduring I would consider the paint pots again but I don’t find they blend well and most of my colors are pretty nude toned for base to be prep for powder shadow over so those are probably going to end up dried out before they get used. But, no regrets b/c the e/s sticks are so much easier to apply and go!

Not very often at all.
I have some sticks and a few in pots. I quite like using MAC Painterly as a base. I have one lovely CT Eyes to Mesmerise, it’s obviously an old one as I couldn’t find it on the CT site, Veruschka. I just looked it up here on Temptalia, it only got a C+, it works well for me though. And yes, it’s DCed.
Other than that, I really would love to try the Caviar Sticks from LM.

I know, they renamed a lot of products some years back. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the kaki/olive golden green Veruschka colour among the ones they have for sale. Not that it really matter, there are a lot of this type of green around, and I still have quite a lot left in the little jar.
I was in a real makeup store today, first time in years. I could hardly find anything interesting. I did try two eyeshadow sticks from Lancome, I liked them, but they were to expensive for whet they are, I think.

The ones I own I don’t use often enough, but I have my eyes on Danessa Myricks colorfix. I have so many in my loves list. Just need to take the plunge.
