Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Because I don’t buy stuff that’s online only, I’m more limited (and haven’t tried so many of the lovely products Christine has mentioned and has reviewed here) so my choices are more limited (and even more so now that Sephora no longer has so many of my favourites). I’d have to say that the Anastasia singles and those from Buxom (alas, neither available from Sephora so just not available to me) are probably my favourite singles. It used to be Stila but the less said about THAT, the better!

Hi Christine!!
I totally agree with you THIS time but I think you have to do a top 10 or something!! I would have to add (your choices plus) Menagerie, Faceglaze, Quicksand, Bechy and Fyrinnae and I really love 💕 so many more… Great question! Thanks for all your comparisons and suggestions, your emails are always interesting!!

I would have to say Sydney Grace – because I own quite a few of their singles. I pulled out my singles magnetic palette the other day and was reminded, once again, how stellar and reliable the brand is.
Although I haven’t ordered from them, I am also partial to JD Glow and Give Me Glow singles as well.

Hmm, if I have to pick ONE brand that does single eyeshadow best overall it is Sydney Grace. The mattes, shimmers and few duo chrome shadows are consistently pigmented, easy to blend, wear well, and they have a good range of shades. Their quality is well worth the inexpensive price.

Sydney Grace, Clionadh and actually MAC though I’m not sure how good newer MAC singles are. It’s just a brand I keep going back to time and time again.
I also have to say Fyrinnae, I love she singles I have from them.
Sydney Grace and Clonadh share a huge magnetic palette and it’s always fun to open it and decide what to use.
I have so many singles from MAC, some day I’ll have to re-arrange them, a thing I love to do.

For me Sydney Grace, they are all I want to use lately. I mostly buy singles, I will buy a palette once in a while but it’s rare. I like the mattes, metallics and the shimmers are nice too. I also have some Colourpop singles that I enjoy. Nomad Cosmetics had singles for a short time, but their mattes are really nice as well. The shimmers are nice but hit and miss if I am being honest. I wouldn’t mind trying Lethal, and have heard good things about Terra Moons and Devinah.
