We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I can go categories: highlighters, bronzers, foundation actually, anything for the eyebrows. And makeup setting spray. I never use them. As for my total makeup collection, I could declutter 70% of it and be OK. It means I have way too much, it’s all nice things but I won’t ever be able to pan it and I don’t make the most of the variety of colours and finishes I have because I stopped wearing make-up on a regular basis and if I do it’s light make-up that’s typical office work appropriate (I wish my work appropriate make-up would comprise of bold colours and shapes!)

MAC Early Morning blush (gorgeous finish but a bad colour for me), MAC Family Silver eyeshadow duo (looks magical in the pan but tragical applied) and maybe Dior Feel eyeshadow 5 pan. It’s nice, with great pigmentation and texture and in theory I should use it a lot but I rarely reach for it.

Bobbi Brown Face Base – it’s a great product but it’s a bit overkill considering my skincare routine.
My one highlighter – I just don’t use it.
My one eyeshadow palette – I don’t use it, it was an impulse purchase, I prefer my cream shadows.

Sadly all my old original UD palettes…not that I dislike them, I just haven’t used them in years…also my beloved ABH Modern Romance palette which was my HG forever, just haven’t reached for it in ages.
Also the old KVD original foundation…so heavy and cakey…new formulas of foundation are so much nore natural now without compromising coverage….And most things MAC…..

ABH Moonchild Palette—I don’t even know why I bought this thing (years ago).

Makeup by Mario Ultra Suede Lipstick in Erin—Nice shade, horrible formula.

ColourPop Uh Huh Honey Eyeshadow Palette—What was I thinking when I bought a yellow eyeshadow palette? There’s not a single shade in this palette that looks good on me.

Only three? Ha…. The first that leaps to mind is Tower 28’s Beach Please in Magic Hour. Nothing wrong with it per se, but it’s a very creamy/tacky formula that doesn’t dry down on me at all. It’s supremely annoying. I could also get rid of L’Oreal Volcanic, as it’s too bright and does nothing for me. Lastly, I have one of those Hourglass 3 pan palettes with the ambient lighting powders. It not only does nothing, I’m not even sure what it’s supposed to do. The colors are not neutral enough to be finishing powders nor bright enough to be highlighters on me.

Concealer, rarely use it. Mascara, I prefer to line my eyes, lipliner, it’s a bother to me and always looks fake on me no matter the color.

There is probably more than three I could get rid of and not miss:
1. Shiseido’s Inner Glow blush in coral – a really small amount of product in the pan (lucky I didn’t pay full price for it) and it didn’t always apply evenly. I am just finishing it off.
2. A couple of older lipsticks that are, no doubt, past their use by date and I have neweer ones to use.
3. I love all my eyeshadow palettes, but I just haven’t used my bareMinerals Soft and Smokey for awhile and the shades I use to use a lot, I now have better substitutes.

Sephora spray foundation, ELF camo powder & ELF lash it loud. N yet there they still are on my vanity…? Thank you for reminding me to toss them!

Three products I can get rid of?
PMG Bronze Seduction, I only keep it because it did cost quite a bit and I keep imagine that I’ll wake up one day, loving it. I don’t hate it, I just don’t like it and I only use it for said reason and I never like the result.
I really should bite the bullet and toss it. I don’t get why it’s so hard to declutter stuff.
ABH Subculture palette. What was I thinking? I do like some of the shades, but so many yellowy shades.
Maybe I should force myself to use it for a week and then decide. It’s also old.
Tom Ford a quad I bought when I had forgotten to take my brain with me. It’s a pinky one, where two shades are toppers, I think, and I don’t like them. So I only use 50% of it, and I have similar coloured eyeshadows that I like a lot more.
I could go on and on but these are the three that came to mind.

I do have a really hard time decluttering, but I am working on it. I have a paper bag under my vanity table, I toss everything that doesn’t work anymore. But if things are useable I keep imagine that I will use them.

Alter Ego Artemis Palette (dupe for ND Metropolis): Quality is there, the color story doesn’t inspire or flatter me. Also, there are so many dupes and near-dupes within the palette! It’s the only one of my palettes that I’m not excited to reach for, on any level. Strange reaction because it’s definitely pretty.

Fenty Beauty Matchstix Blush in Ridiic. Mine is so, so, dry. It’s more difficult to work with on my light skin and therefore I tend to not bother, as pretty as it is.

All of my older BareMinerals glosses, because of the stickier formula.

I can’t reduce to 3 product so mentioning three “groups” instead: some Estee Lauder eyeshadows and lip products, Charlotte Tilbury Santa lip and cheek tint and Brow fix clear brow gel, and all 3 Colorpop Super shock shadows that I own (21C5 Sequin, 21C4 Muse and 21C1 Wine Down). Out of my friends and family I’m the one who wears the most makeup so I really don’t have anyone to whom I could pass these on to.

The Estee Lauder products I got when I purchased a holiday set which was worth the money for the skin care alone, but added some unnecessary and not great makeup products into my collection. There’s only one lipstick from the EL set I use: Carnal. Same story with the Charlotte Tilbury products, I got them in a mystery box: the lip and cheek tint I tested once, the Brow fix I haven’t even tested because it’s not a product I would use so I figured it would be easier to find a new home for it, if unopened.

The CP cream shadows are not my typical, more subtle aesthetics, and generally I just prefer powder and liquid shadows over creams. I bought into the great reviews. Had I had the chance to swatch them before purchasing, I probably would not have bought them as I would have seen that while they may be great products, they’re not for me.

I recently went through everything and still keep a number of palettes I never or rarely use. 🙁 But truth be told as least a couple or so of my eye shadow palettes. Then again, as soon as it’s gone, I’d say to myself, didn’t I have such and such color ??? Ha!

And because you said three, old lipsticks and small tubes of cream (freebies that date from when I used to travel more often.)
