We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

If I’m going to be at the beach or on a boat, I don’t wear face makeup so that I CAN reapply sunscreen but in my daily life, I don’t as I don’t see the need for the short amounts of time I’m in the sun – I figure a morning application will see me through til I get home. On my body, though, I do reapply – if I’m doing out of doors activities and also because of frequent hand-washing thoughout the day. The one place I don’t bother is on my legs, which are chicken skin white and need a bit of colour (though I do apply on the tops of my feet!)
In my daily life i do not because i am not in the sun a lot. When i go hiking i do not wear makeup and reapply sunscreen as needed.
I use the Supergoop (Re)setting 100% Mineral Powder SPF 35 instead of reapplying my cream sunscreen over my makeup. I don’t wear as much makeup in really hot weather, so there’s less to worry about.
I used the powder sunscreen to reapply on my face in Hawaii with daily temps of 95° F and in Arizona in temps well into the 100°+ F, and didn’t burn.
Putting Supergoop (re)Setting 100% Mineral Powder SPF 35 on my next month Sephora order! Not that I burn all that easily, but I don’t need sun damage with its aging effects.
Not if I’ll just be out and about doing shopping, going to doctors/medical appointments or where I will be in and out of places. Especially if I’m wearing a full face of makeup.
However, if I will be down at the pool or it will be harsh mid-day sun without any shelter for a long period of time, then I definitely will reapply either sunscreen (pool, beach) or my SPF CC cream if at a picnic/cookout or other fully outside event.
I apply sunscreen every day before I walk the dog after that I’m inside so I don’t reapply. When I am vacationing I do reapply as I burn very easily, I use powder sunscreen to reapply over my makeup.
I reapply sunscreen on my body, if I am going to be outdoors, but not on top of makeup. I am generally pretty covered up even in summer and loathe going out in the summer sun. I generally stick to indoors.
I also use a mineral powder sunscreen instead of reapplying a cream sunscreen on top of my makeup. I have been using the Mineral powder sunscreen SOLIS+ SPF 50 by IDC DERMO, a Canadian brand.
Since I started using retinoid (Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Retinoid Night Oil), I reapply every 2-4 hours if I’m working by a window or going for even a short walk outside. My skin is a lot more light sensitive now.
If I’m wearing makeup, I’ll usually only apply sunscreen in the morning before putting on my makeup. If it’s a particularly hot or sunny day outside, I sometimes use the SPF mists if I feel I need a bit of a touch-up. But usually, if it’s really hot and I’m going to be out for the rest of the day in the sun, I don’t wear makeup and just do my usual skincare.
I had 3 BBL laser sessions recently & she suggested I reapply SS before I leave work everyday so I’ve been doing that. I’m just going home anyways so it doesn’t matter.
Yes, I use either a mist or a powder. I always use a wide brimmed hat when out during spring summer and fall. I do my best to stay out of the sun. I have enough sun damage from the time when being tanned was a priority for me. Stupid younger me! 🙂
No, I don’t wear makeup when I’ll need to reapply sunscreen.
