None! I’ve been using MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork with MAC Naked Lunch Eyeshadow exclusively for the past month. The palettes that I keep close-at-hand are Natasha Denona Glam and a few Dior 5 Couleurs Palettes (Mitzah, Soft Cashmere, Galactic, and Nude Dress).
Mostly quads and 5-pans. Chanel Empreinte du Desert, Dior New Look and 3 self-made ABH quads. The original Naked palette is never out of reach, though.
I used Empreinte du Desert recently. I associated it with whenever we rent a cabin in the woods, so now I have very found memories of it and always pack it every cabin trip. My collection is large so now it’s the only time I use it…but also the most used in my collection now.
Melt Cosmetics – Gemini
Melt Cosmetics Gemini II
Violet Voss – Care Bears Mini
Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows – Rose
Natasha Denona – Retro
Lately I’ve been frequently using ND Retro and mini Biba, Huda New Nudes, and some Terra Moons singles.
I, unfortunately, am in rehab facility, in isolation because I recently had a shingles lesion, so tinted lip balm is the closest thing to makeup that I have available at the moment.
That said, I really don’t do palettes, preferring singles instead.
I was tempted by the UD Naked Heat pallette, though, since I have green eyes.
Sending healing vibes your way, Carla <3
Carla, it’s so good to “see” you here. I really hope things improve for you soon. You really are a trooper!
Best wishes for you, Carla.
Oh Carla, how painful and awful for you to have shingles. I hope you are getting better and be home soon.
Feel better soon, Carla! Loves of love & healing energy to you!
Get well soon!
PML Bronze Borealis and Lorac Noir.
Just a collection of MAC shadows I have accumulated in a palette
Years ago MAC did two quad palettes with Patrick Starr. They were mostly permanent colors, some that I already owned in singles and some in other palettes. But the colors all in one place were too convenient to pass up. One has Soft Brown, Amber Lights, Swiss Chocolate and I’m Into it (a burgundy); the other has Brule, Omigaud (the LE that I use almost daily and would love a dupe for, a nude mauve), Saddle and Embark. They are two I reach for the most despite the fact that I already owned soft brown, saddle and Swiss chocolate in singles and had Embark in a palette. The combo is perfect for every outfit and every occasion. I add a little Orb if I want to go pinker or Vintage Taupe on the lid on top of Brûlée or Orb for a quick look. But my favorite is Omigaud on the lid with some Sculpt or Taupe in the crease. If anyone knows a dupe for Omigaud, it’s close to pan and the MAC store had no recommendations. Despite many others that I own, I think I could be on a desert Island with these two and the Sculpt and Shale palette in light/medium.
Hourglass Smoke is listed as a dupe on this page?? It’s a creme eyeshadow but maybe that’s an option?
Really enjoyed that collab MAC did with Patrick Starr. So well curated!!
Colourpop Lost in Wonderland
Natasha Denona Pastel and Pastel Mini
Colourpop Matte About Hue
Colourpop Gone Matte
Huda Beauty Rose Quartz
Lately I’ve been using Rose Quartz for more neutral looks, and for more colorful looks, combining the Natasha Denona pastel shimmers & mattes with the deeper mattes from the Colourpop matte palettes. Makes those pastels more wearable for me!
PMG Labs Venus In Fleurs Voyeuristic Vixen, Dior Tutu 5 Colour quint, Fantasy Cosmetica Rogue Palette and SG X Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels with some of the grungy greens from her vision of what she felt ND Retro ought to have looked like pulled in.
Viseart Cool Mattes 1 & 2 are my daily go-to palettes but recently I’ve been reaching for Vieve Ninetease, Lisa Eldridge Vega, Tom Ford Violet Satine or Sydney Grace Coffee Talk (light).
I really like Ninetease a lot. LE Vega is on my wish list.
Can I just come and raid your palettes? 😀
🤣 Raid away! I’ve never worn warm tones because they make me look sick so I’m happy to see brands releasing some cool toned options. I know there were complaints about the shimmers in Ninetease but I personally like the smooth formula as it means I don’t end up with glitter fallout and textured metallics make my lids look crepey.
Vega is beautiful and the formula is fantastic so I highly recommend it!
The eyeshadow palettes I have in rotation now are: Pixi Beauty’s Reflex Light, SG Temptalia’s On the Horizon and any others that may suit what I am wearing. But these are the main two I am using now.
Lawless, the lavender one (love this 1). Lorac, Meraki. ABH, Riviera (after I dusted it off & sanitized it). ELF, rose water. Pacifica, animal magic (always). Oh & I busted out my Tarte In Bloom (the big one) the other day…but I still prefer looking at it over its actual performance. Tarte shadow have not been kind to my aging eyes.
I’ve had the Lawless lavender palette in my Sephora cart for a while but the reviews saying it lacks pigmentation and isn’t buildable make me nervous. Have you had any issues with it?
The Temptalia x Sydney Grace trio, ColourPop In A Daze and Wine & Only, and ummm I think the Beauty Bay Age of Opulence palette.
Chanel 68-Délices Pastel, Lisa Eldridge Myth and Viseart Paris Nudes.
Colourpop Feelin Toasty has become a new fave because of its mix of neutral browns, beiges and golds. As always, great quality!
Pat McGrath Bronze seduction, PMG Huetopia, Mac singles that I have put in a palette, basically the neutrals, I rediscovered my Dose of Colors block party shadows.. I love glitter. I think I have panned every shade in Bronze Seduction and the lightest champagne color is completely gone.. the palette looks so awful I am thinking of buying another one except she will probably be coming out with a new one and I am going to buy one of the Love palettes while they are on sale.. so we shall see!
Lethal Cosmetics x Theresa Is Dead Lethal Is Dead, my 6-pan palette of Lethal Cosmetics singles, and Urban Decay Naked Basics.
I use Viseart Neutral Nudes or whatever it’s called daily for the lightest shades, used on the browbone. Other than that I would have to say none, or maybe Vieve Ninetease, I’ve used it regularly since I bought it. I seem to pick a palette sometimes but mostly I use various singles right now, SG, MAC, Clionadh.
