We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

For the most part, I only wear lip balms at night though I do use Burt’s Bees Red Dahlia during the day at school and it’s easy to reapply after I’ve had lunch but seems to last from morning til lunch and then from after lunch til I get home.
I don’t like goopy or sticky lip balms. Lanolin is an allergy and I don’t want my lips to taste like cheap perfume.
I like good coverage and something I only have to apply once or twice a day.
Since I only rarely wear a lip balm except during overnight, I do expect it to last decently while I’m sleeping. But, it’s almost ALWAYS gone by morning!
Today, I actually am wearing one of PMG Labs lip balms on, and hopefully I won’t need to reapply it again for 3-ish hours unless I eat something.
What lip balms last 4 to 6 hours??
I’m lucky if I can go 1 hour even with middle range lip balms!
I only use a lip balm of a night time and prefer my creamy hydrating lipsticks to do the job during the day.
What I want/need is a lip balm that moisturises my lips so they don’t crack and develiop lip lines. They need to be quite thick and creamy.
I like a lip balm that, far as i know, does not exist. I like the moisture & thickness (& scents!) of a Laneige lip mask, but the lightness & slip of the NYX lip oil. Longevity? Hmm…I reapply every 1-2hrs or so. Like a true lip product junkie. Even if I don’t need to. It’s a bad habit my mother got me into. She used to say she was addicted to her “lip sh!t”. It ingrained in me! Lol
I like lip balms that are moisturizing and not sticky, reapplying often is not a problem for me.
For me, lip balms must be moisturizing, since that’s the main reason I use them. And more than moisturizing in the moment, but in the long term. I don’t care about longevity. If I want that, I’ll apply a lipstick or tint, between layers of balm.
