What's your "goes with everything" blush?
Marc Jacobs Flesh & Fantasy, which has been discontinued, so until that runs out and I do have a backup… but for something that is still available, MAC Fairly Precious Extra Dimension Blush. It has a beautiful, luminous sheen and gives me a soft pop of warmer color on cheeks that can be layered with a deeper blush or bronzer or worn on its own, so it’s very versatile and goes with a lot of looks.
MAC Naturally Flawless Mineralized blush and NARS Illicit Satin blush.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed.
Lancôme Blush Subtil in Miel Glacé or Cedar Rose, Bareminerals Blonzer in Kiss of Pink, Clinique Nude Pop, Origins Pinch Your Cheeks Blush in Rose Dust or Tom Ford Wicked
I LOVE Lancome Miel Glace! It’s so beautiful on just about everyone!
MAC Mineralize Blush in Sweet Enough
Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush or MAC Sweet Sentiment Mineralize Blush (LE and so no longer available – bah!)
MAC Warm Soul Mineralize Blush
That one is so good! I have it and forgot about using it!
Again, I have a handful! Tarte Paaarty, MAC Oh My Passion, Nars Liberté, Savage and Orgasm, PML Desert Orchid and Divine Rose.
LYS blush in Confident
I actually use many times contour or bronzer products as blush, if I don’t to overthink what goes with what I use MAC Harmony or Sculpt (I always have one of them in my collection, but never at the same time, it’s useless since they are so similar).
Same, if I think a blush might clash with my eye and lip makeup, I will use my Guerlain bronzer that has peachy stripes as a blush. I don’t like the word blonzer 😛
I am not particularly faithful to a brand for my blushes, but to a shade – coral. Now that I have hit pan on my Shiseido Inner Glow blush (there was not a lot of product in this one), I am interested to read here what other’s are choosing.
I was very disappointed when Shiseido stopped being sold in Australia! Just beautiful products across the board.
Since it made a return in the 00s, cream and now stick blusher are my favourites; they’re very handy for touch-ups during the day.
Colourpop’s Super Shock Blush in Prenup is my go-to, the ‘satin’ finish appears fairly matte but is easier to blend than a typical matte shade: if I want some shine, creme highlight works beautifully over the top of it. It’s a lighter, cool pink that works on most skin tones, but if I’m after a deeper shade, Cruel Intentions in the same formulation works well too.
I’m loving the return of liquid blush, (Clinique used to make a gorgeous one) but haven’t come across one in my budget that has decent colour payoff; I’ll keep looking!
Mac Fluer power & melba! Also my Pat McGrath nude venus & desert orchid – love them
NARS Body Talk from the Overlust cheek palette. It may not go with absolutely everything, but it comes close! This seems to be a dupe for the PML Desert Orchid blush that many love 🙂 I didn’t pick Desert Orchid up, as I already have and use the NARS one a lot.
I recently picked up a Stila blush in Seoul Seduction at Marshall’s and it’s perfect for a lot of the looks I do. Light pink, not too warm, with a slight sheen.
Dior Charnelle (459)
Coincidentally, I just picked up Fairly Precious using the 20% Ulta coupon. It should be here next week. The extra dimension blush is such a good formula.
My go-to blushes right now for when I’m in a hurry and know it will always go are Pat McGrath’s Fleurtatious and Clinique’s Heather Pop. Heather Pop tends to go a little more mauve than pink on me for some reason, but it’s just especially good at blending into just about any look for me – it can play with warm or cool looks and sheers out or builds up really well.
