What's your "goes with everything" blush?

Marc Jacobs Flesh & Fantasy, which has been discontinued, so until that runs out and I do have a backup… but for something that is still available, MAC Fairly Precious Extra Dimension Blush. It has a beautiful, luminous sheen and gives me a soft pop of warmer color on cheeks that can be layered with a deeper blush or bronzer or worn on its own, so it’s very versatile and goes with a lot of looks.

I actually use many times contour or bronzer products as blush, if I don’t to overthink what goes with what I use MAC Harmony or Sculpt (I always have one of them in my collection, but never at the same time, it’s useless since they are so similar).

Same, if I think a blush might clash with my eye and lip makeup, I will use my Guerlain bronzer that has peachy stripes as a blush. I don’t like the word blonzer 😛

Since it made a return in the 00s, cream and now stick blusher are my favourites; they’re very handy for touch-ups during the day.
Colourpop’s Super Shock Blush in Prenup is my go-to, the ‘satin’ finish appears fairly matte but is easier to blend than a typical matte shade: if I want some shine, creme highlight works beautifully over the top of it. It’s a lighter, cool pink that works on most skin tones, but if I’m after a deeper shade, Cruel Intentions in the same formulation works well too.
I’m loving the return of liquid blush, (Clinique used to make a gorgeous one) but haven’t come across one in my budget that has decent colour payoff; I’ll keep looking!

NARS Body Talk from the Overlust cheek palette. It may not go with absolutely everything, but it comes close! This seems to be a dupe for the PML Desert Orchid blush that many love 🙂 I didn’t pick Desert Orchid up, as I already have and use the NARS one a lot.

Coincidentally, I just picked up Fairly Precious using the 20% Ulta coupon. It should be here next week. The extra dimension blush is such a good formula.

My go-to blushes right now for when I’m in a hurry and know it will always go are Pat McGrath’s Fleurtatious and Clinique’s Heather Pop. Heather Pop tends to go a little more mauve than pink on me for some reason, but it’s just especially good at blending into just about any look for me – it can play with warm or cool looks and sheers out or builds up really well.
