Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I have genetically dark under eyes, so a great concealer needs to cover them with not creasing. And a great concealer is hygienic (I personally hate doe foot applicators and pot concealers), aka comes with a pump that makes dosing easy (no squirting or pushing too much product).

1.) Does NOT sink into fine lines in my undereye area!
2.) Has excellent coverage, yet still has a very skin-like finish and appearance.
3.) Never looks cakey or like I even used a concealer!
4.) Can last through a 3-4 hour concert where I will definitely be sweating and possibly even have a few tears roll down my cheeks.
5.) Has perfect color matches for my different uses: one to brighten my undereye and high points, the other one to cover blemishes and reddened areas.

A great concealer is not only multi-use, as you mentioned, but blends out to be invisible on my skin so I don’t need to wear other face products. Many of the drier ones make excellent eyeshadow primers as well.

Versatile and blendable skin finish. Flexible. Nars has a fantastic formula and shade range but it’s sooo expensive. Elf hydrating is more affordable, good shade range and formula, trying Lys to see if it bridges that gap.

I agree with you Christine. I want one concealer that I can use anywhere, not one for under my eyes and a different for my face.
Also, I’m very fair with a cool undertone so I need a shade light enough with a neutral or slightly cool undertone, which isn’t always easy to find as many are so peachy or salmon colored that they look orange.

The Dior concealer in the photo was a big disappointment as it contains glitter that’s visible on the skin after blending. I do, however, love the Dior Forever Skin Correct concealer; it’s been a favorite ever since I bought it on a whim right after it launched. I just wish the lightest shade was available at retailers other than just Dior’s site.
