What are the first few things you'll notice when trying out a new concealer?

I’ll notice how wet/dry it is, which will tend to inform me on how I’m going to use it and what I’ll apply it with.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Whether or not it sinks into my little undereye lines before I can set it with my RCMA No Color powder! Because, if it does, I either won’t be purchasing it again or if expensive, I will return it for a prompt refund.
Beyond that, I’m also looking to see if it clings to dry patches of eczema, how well it last all day coverage wise, and whether the consistency too dry or too oily.

That Dior concealer looks so good- the applicator looks amazing! I may have to try it! I started off with the MAC pot concealer to attack acne blemishes.. never really understood concealer. Then I was introduced to the MAC prolong wear concealer and I loved it so much more! Thin, smooth, opaque, long lasting and wears so much better than the pot concealer. So many concealers make my under eye area look wrinkled the thicker ones create wrinkles for me. I love a thin opaque somewhat luminous concealer. I also use certain concealers for different areas of my face.. right now my favorite is the Pat McGrath … some how I have 5 of her concealers in different colors.. and they go on different parts of my face.. I also have some lancome/ huda/ tarte. I like those as well but to thick for my under eye. I loved the NARS but not enough product in their tube to justify the cost.
