How pigmented do you prefer your lipglosses?

If I’m JUST wearing gloss, I like medium coverage – enough that it looks like I’m wearing something on my lips but opaque gloss can be heavier/higher maintenance. That being said, the new breed of lipstick/gloss that lasts forever and is transfer-resistant… those are opaque and I LOVE!

“The new breed of lipstick/gloss that lasts forever and is transfer-resistant”—say what?? I would love to hear some examples of this formula!

If I’m using a lip gloss alone, I want one that is quite pigmented but most importantly, a gloss that is not sticky and without that silicone feeling. For me personally, the glosses from Lisa Eldridge and from Tower 28 Beauty (XOXO, Fire and Coconut) are the only ones that fit that bill. Those from LE are the best for me, as they are hydrating due to the oils and leave behind a beautiful colour. My lips are not naturally pigmented, therefore a gloss that is pigmented for me, might be sheer for someone else.

I’m always afraid I’ll get lip gloss all over my cheeks if my hair blows around, I’m also a bit scared that it’ll end up outside my lips if/when I press and rub my lips together. a very stupid habit, but hard to break.
I generally prefer a gloss that is medium to sheer but with a lot of shimmer, and I mean a lot.
I do love my Maybelline Vinyl Ink and it’s as pigmented as they come, but then it stays in place no matter what it seems.
