The changing colors of the leaves. It is not a great year for the deep reds and oranges where I live. But the yellow toned greens and the chartreuses are stunningly beautiful against the deep green of the evergreens and against the deep olive green of the branches and trunks of the trees. I have definitely been reaching for those colors for eyes a lot lately.

???? Nothing really inspires me except maybe seeing other people’s makeup looks. I suppose if anything has inspired me, it’s been the cooler weather and the slow shift into autumn (because I love autumn makeup colours).
The color pattern of my shower curtains lol. They are tan color, a soft blue and a terracotta color😉
I love doing music-inspired makeup! I’ve been listening to a lot of Grayscale lately and they use a lot of colors and imagery in their lyrics.
1.) My old usual 80’s look, but modernized, refined and amped up to a whole other level!
2.) Green ruby throated parakeets!
I always try to match my eye makeup to my clothes, so it was definitely an outfit! A white dress with blue flowers and my green boots.
It’s my clothes that inspire my makeup looks – I tend to wear patterned tops (very, very fussy about the colours and the designs) and the colours give me the inspiration – I like to co-ordinate my lipstick and eyeshadows with them.

Some of the looks you have posted. You are so creative, and your looks inspired me to use some things I have in order to recreate them. Your looks have made me fall in love again with products I have and forget how lovely they are. I get in a makeup rut sometimes and you have helped me become more creative and use the things I have. Your dupe lists have helped me rediscover the things I have again rather than buying new things, some of which I can dupe with my collection. You have such a unique eye for color, and the way you blend the colors together is truly beautiful. You have saved me a lot of money, and the products that you recommend don’t disappoint me either.
Being in a hurry. I ended up using whatever was in my bag and putting it on in the car. Very minimal. lol
