Oddly, though it was a less expensive brand, Sleek did similar themes as you suggested. I’ve been asking for a winter frost theme, and the closest I’ve seen was Jeffrey Star’s Blue Blood Artistry (and companies like Revolution London that tried to copy his color theme). But I really would like Natasha Denona or PMG to do it as a winter frost color theme, as I’m confident they’d do it well, wearable, and with a twist.
Coloured Raine is coming out with one you might want to check out. I think it’s call Thunder.
The new Thunder palette from Coloured Raine kind of gave me winter vibes too?
Yes! I second a winter theme! White, grey, lavender-blue, silver, cold red, coal black—sounds like heaven. I want to look like a gender-swapped Night King from Game of Thrones.
A worthy aesthetic! I love it!
I’m all about that midnight garden theme too, Christine! I do believe that I have it spanning several palettes, or should I say shades within my palettes, with Menagerie Cosmetics Flight Club, Nomad Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde palette, Sydney palette Grace x Temptalia Quintessence and Radiant Reflection, plus PML’s Sexterrarestrial and Subversive Mothership III thrown in. While I would freakin’ LOVE an entire palette dedicated to that theme with all the shades in one place, after receiving the Nomad palette yesterday, I don’t want to overwhelm myself anymore than I already have! (Sez the gal with 4 Terra Moons multichromes sitting ready to be checked out, LOL!)
Check out Lois Cosmetics~ They literally have a palette called Meet me at Midnight you might like!
I would love a deeper palette, but looking for something that might be more age appropriate so definitely more on the muted soft smoky side paired with corresponding pops of saturated colour.. a top row of the muted smoky and a row of the saturated below. But this is probably too old school in terms of presentation for most labels.
I love your inspiration, Christine!
Malevolent bog witch. Lots of dusky, grungy greens and blues that has a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s Eyes to Mesmerize in Cleopatra [aka Yennefer of Vengerberg green] in it.
I love this concept!
OOH, love the pictures you chose! Seconding that! I think the NARS x Erdem collaboration touched on this theme but didn’t go as full-bore as they could have. I would love to see more iterations of this, and generally things that touch on fantasy or magic themes!
You and Sydney Grace should team up again with this idea!
I would love this kind of colours and theme!
You and Sydney Grace get on that midnight garden theme, pronto, ya hear?! 😃 It would be amazing! (I can dream.)
Mushrooms and fungi. They can come in the most amazing colors, including neons. And plenty of browns for the neutral lovers. Plus, science!
Brilliant!
Thank you
This is very Raw Beauty Kristi x ColourPop to me. I love the idea but on my fair skin in practice it just looks like mud for me.
I’m not overly fond of the Raw Beauty Kristi palette. And it was more PNW themed, though that includes our mushrooms. I’d want one of better quality and more color variety, based on specific mushrooms from around the world.
Well, this is timely because I have been thinking about the kind of eyeshadow palette that I would personally like to see. I would call it ‘Snapshot of the Seasons’ and it would contain 16 shades, arranged in groups of four – each four depicting elements of the seasons. It would be all soft shimmers, metallics and satins.
Winter: a champagne shade, a taupe shade, a darker grey shade and an evergreen shade
Spring: a soft buttercup yellow, a light mauve shade, a pewter shade and a violet shade
Summer: a peachy/rose gold shade, a mint shade, medium rosy taupe shade and a teal blue shade
Autumn: a gold shade, a bronze/copper shade, an olive green shade and a rich golden bronzey brown shade.
That’s what I would like!
You’re so creative and smart! I love that idea, and those are perfect quads!
Thank you Fey – like many others, I am really after shades that just aren’t pink or orange themed!
That sounds lovely!
Midnight Garden? I am so ready Christine! These pics remind me of the pricey Natasha Denona Metropolis palette, which I wanted badly, but didn’t purchase, as I only wanted the deep blues and greens.
Add purple and soft ivory, yellow, rose, I would happily pre-order and wait patiently for my bouquet in a palette to arrive! : )
Check out Ave Beauté’s amazing and affordable Metropolis dupe, the Artemis Palette.
Actually, that’s Alter Ego’s palette. I bought it and quite a few shades came hard-panned. 🙁
Oh, no, that’s awful! Mine is wonderful.
Thanks for the correction on the brand. 🙂
Didn’t MAC do a garden themed collection a long time ago? I seem to recall a purple-plummy shade and an interesting green. I have them somewhere. I love the inspirational photos, gorgeous colours!
I second the winter theme!
