What color and finish of eyeshadow are you still looking for?

The shade Magellan’s Light that I worked on with Sydney Grace is gorgeous, but the original concept was a little different–we were able to get there in loose form but couldn’t get there in pressed form, so it was tweaked. That shade, lol! It wasn’t as warm-toned, slightly more translucent, and sparklier. Sometimes I wish we could have released the loose version!

Now that I’m not in my 20’s anymore I gravitate away from too glittery, sparkly eyeshadows and look towards very metallic ones with a very smooth shine. Some of the MAC loose shadows are good as are some PML shades. Still looking for my GOAT perfect metallic taupe shade….no glitter, pure shine!

I always love, love, love subtle duochromes/multichromes. Like, the color change kind of thing but in a more neutral base that I can wear on a regular basis. I honestly don’t make enough time on a daily basis to use the more colorful beauties, and I’m sure there’s a market for “work safe” duo/multichromes.

Semi-related, I want there to be more options to buy JUST a single eyeshadow like Sydney Grace. I know there are a lot of other pressed indies out there, some of which you’ve reviewed, but I like the reliability of SG’s site. There’s no “oh this shade is finally in stock so I need to order now!” pressure.

Could you recommend a K brand that does what you’re describing very well? Also, with you on wanting a green palette (and I’d add green-purplish multichromes and gold and silver purples) with textures similar to ColourPop’s Super Shocks (CP SS), but not as sheer; an in-between to CP SS and Terra Moon-Clionadh. AND, that isn’t $15 to $20 a pop!

Literally ANYTHING that my damnable allergy tears won’t break down and look crumbly, creased, and then when patted back into place loses its original finish if anything glittery, metallic or shimmery. Like, honestly, since I’m pretty sure I’m not alone on this issue, I wish that I myself could create such a product for all the others who struggle with this problem.
Other than that; MAC, please bring back your Matte² and all your old purple eyeshadows that you DC’d!

Well come on, then!! Release a the loose version please 😭 ❤️

L’Oréal Amber Rose infallible shadow, except pressed and a bit pinker.

Urban Decay Maui Wowie without the glittery fallout.

A slightly sparkly metallic deep midnight blue that doesn’t ever mean purple.

I LOVE a loose eyeshadow or ‘pigment’, if it’s nice quality. I’m saying I definitely prefer a good quality loose eyeshadow over a good quality pressed, I know I’m definitely the minority. Same is true for highlighters too. I’d buy the loose version, for sure.

I still have a Turquoise Jewel palette from a Mac holiday collection (2004 I think?) and it has the most perfect warm pink shimmer called “Sunnyside up”. It’s my absolute hands down holy grail shadow (I have really small deep eyes that need brightening) but I haven’t found a perfect dupe.

I’ve been on a hunt for what seems like forever, for a dark brown shimmer or glitter that doesn’t pull purple, orange, brassy or yellowish on my skin. I have the single shadow Maple by Ulta and the MUF grey brown which are pretty close to perfect but I want/need to switch it up. I wish I could find more!! Any ideas?!

Jane cosmetics “Magical Mushroom” was THE perfect bronze color. I should have hoarded it in the 90’s. I’ve never found another with quite the same tones and it looked amazing on me.
