elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter Swatches
elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter ($14.00 for 1.06 fl. oz.) debuted a couple of weeks ago, and it has caught the attention of some readers as a potential dupe to Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter. It definitely looks the part online, and in person, I’d agree that it certainly looks and feels similar (haven’t tested for wear)… I’d say a little less fluid (not in a bad way). Here are swatches of all eight shades!
I’ve been seeing these touted on YT a lot recently as being exactly what you said, dupes for CT Hollywood Flawless Filter. Wouldn’t mind grabbing either Medium or Light-medium for underpainting! And also Deep-Rich for doing a bronzing/contouring underpaint.
Thank you for the swatches! Now I know for sure what shade to get. 😁
Saw a lot of good reviews on these so I can’t wait for yours!
How in the world is Fair supposed to work on actual fair skintones??? I knew from the original photos it would be too dark for my NW10 skintone but it’s even darker than I originally thought. CT Flawless Filter shade 1 is also too dark for me and this Fair shade looks to be at least 2 shades deeper than that. Crazy.
I think they might be sheer so people might get away with using a lighter or darker shade
I think you’re right but even sheered out, Fair would be too dark and warm for me.
That’s quite a price difference from CT’s. Too bad they are all too warm and dark for me. :/
Based on the swatch the lightest shade is probably too dark and too yellow for me even in the summer. As I suspected.
But I want so badly for it to work for me that I cling to reviews of people saying it can really sheer out. I have wanted the HFF or Auric Glow Lust for so long but just haven’t been able to justify the price when there are other things we really need more. It seems like the perfect solution. I hate when the hype gets to me, especially if it is for something that won’t work (but maybe it will…maybe it will…a girl can dream….)
I’m interested to read your review!
I’m so not sure about these, I think the lightest may be a bit dark, and I’m not even super fair, just fair/light. I also think it looks too warm.
I will read the review before making my mind up, though.
