I can’t commit to a single shade. I’m lucky if I can commit to one shade when I apply it, LOL! Last time I did my nails, I ended up with eight shades across 10 fingers!

I rarely paint my nails. They peel just being bare, and constantly split and crack and just suck. Occasionally I decide to damn the less than 24 hour wear period for nail polish and paint them anyway and on those occasions I always go really dark or black. It just looks nice and goes with everything.
A shiny black creme on shortish nails just looks classy as hell.
I am terrible about nail polish. I have at least 20 bottles and I’ve used almost all of them only once. I guess I like to try a new color every time. The goth in me wants to say that black or dark purple are my favorites, but they’re just so high maintenance! So these days I like a nude or light color that won’t be as obvious when it chips.
I wish! Unfortunately, once the pandemic hit, I stopped wearing nail polish. Now my nails are like iron compared to when I used to keep them done with polish, base coat and topcoat. But when I used to do them, I typically wore super deep burgundy or purple during winter, and teals, coral reds and metallic bronze or copper during summer.
I only wear red polish and may or may not have 30+ bottles from drugstore to luxury brands that looked different when I bought them individually but are almost identical when viewed as a group. In spring & summer, I wear classic reds like Chanel Pirate, Dior 999, Essie Really Red, Revlon Red or OPI Big Apple Red and in fall & winter, I wear deeper shades like Essie Bordeaux or Wicked, OPI Malaga Wine or Got the Blues for Red and Tom Ford Smoke Red.
I cannot wear fingernail polish in my profession, but I keep my toes professionally pedicured. Between my daughter and I, we own way too many polishes– OPI, Essie, Zoya China Glaze. We love them all. But the ones I covet the most are my few Chanel polishes. They are so overpriced, yet so good. Sea Sea Green and Moon Shell from the summer 2022 collection are my current favorites. They are both so so good. (swoon)
I get my nails done professionally every other week so whatever I pick is what I wear for two week. And I usually wear the same color time after time. I wore ILNP Black Orchid for virtually the entire fall and winter. Then I went for a different mood and wore ILNP Summer for a few months.
Lately, the only nail polish I use is Essie Licorice on my toenails. I never polish my fingernails.
When I do wear nail polish, I tend to change the colours every time. I particularly prefer either pearl shades or bronzey tones.
I get my nails done at the salon every three weeks because my natural nails are horrible. I get a different color and shape done and I spend quite a bit of time figuring out what I am going to be having done. Right now because it’s Stampede week in Calgary I have a light denim shade that is going to go with what I wear when I attend a concert down at the grounds on Sunday.

I like many colors, but ILNP Chai Latte is a perfect linear holo – it’s neutral and gorgeous at the same time. : )
I switch up colors all the time.
I love ILNP! But my fave brands currently are Cirque Colors and Bees Knees Lacquer. The Cirque Colors Bubbly Collection is GORGEOUS and so cute. I have the same problem with committing to colors. Skittle manis all day everyday!
Damaged my nails trying to wear glue – press-ons and so, no nail polish for a long while (again). I think I’m just not meant for nail polish either. They don’t seem to agree with my nails and they end up weak. 🙁
