I definitely like to support smaller businesses/individual’s dream jobs, so that’s nice, and they often have more interesting colors/shades available.

Unique shades that are non-existent in most or any “mainstream” brands, and usually a PLETHORA of multichrome goodness! Also, I feel that they take much more care in packing products with enough padding to protect the shipped purchases.

I love they have more interesting colors and so much better formulas. I mostly buy eyeshadows from indie brands. I do have a special love for shifty, multichromatic shadows.
I rerally do like the indie brands that you support Christine because I know you have researched them well before deciding to review their products as to their business structure and the quality of their products.
I have found that these smaller brands offer quite varied shade colours for eyeshadows in a variety of finishes to suit everyone.
Many of the mainstream brands are just not delivering that level of excellence anymore and by offering products of generally outstanding quality at such affordable prices it is relatively easy to build up your own palettes of shades that you would actually use.
I have a better chance of finding the kinds of colors and finishes I like, with quality as good or better than mainstream brands.

I love the creativity of indie brands. And any time I can support a small business rather than a corporate one I am all about it.
