How do you feel about travel-sized perfume?

I love when they’re in a mini spray bottle, since I prefer spraying to rolling on! It’s a nice way to try different fragrances without having to commit to a single bottle. It’s not necessarily a cost-effective way just to sample, but it is a great way to buy a scent to wear semi-regularly without spending $200 on a full bottle.

Love them! I like the portability of travel bottles and they let me try perfume for a nice amount of time before spending the money on a full bottle. (Side note because I feel like venting… I was perfume shopping at Macy’s yesterday and I asked the saleswoman about the heart and base notes of a particular fragrance, but she had no idea what I meant. She thought I should judge the perfume only from the top notes on the paper test strip. Why do stores put salespeople who know nothing about perfume on the perfume counter?)

I love small bottles of perfume. I prefer rolling on to spraying, funnily enough, so those little dainty bottles of perfume oil are perfect. Just dab my wrists, the inside of my elbows, behind my ears and maybe the nape of my neck, and I’m out the door. And if I’m going to be out for a long time, I can carry them with me in my pocket.

I actually prefer the travel sprays. I’ll accept a roller if I have to, but I hate that cloudy look they inevitably get. As nice as it is to have a pretty bottle of my favorite scents, I’m too disloyal. I rarely finish a full bottle before the scent turns because I’m always trying something new.

If they come as part of a value purchase (as my roller ball of Prada Eau d’Iris did) then I really like them since they are so ideal for travel but otherwise, as with travel sized skin care products, I don’t find them to be the best value.

I love it! It’s cheaper than a big bottle (not pr ml, but compared to buying 50 ml and trowing half of it away when it’s getting too old), and it’s a great way of trying out a new perfume for a longer period of time. And if it turns out Im loving it after the travel size is finished, I know it’s true love and not a fling 😁
Also great for seasonal fragrances – in Norway where I live the summer period is quite short, and I can’t justify buying summer fragrance for two months of the year

I much prefer travel sizes. I don’t wear fragrance that much, so a big bottle would last me ages… some say that’s a good point, but I prefer to keep products on rotation, not collect them.
But I prefer travel sizes with a sprayer, I hate rollerballs or the ones you have to put product on your skin.

I love them so much better than a tiny sample IF they are a spray. I order a lot of travel sprays from maxaroma. I recently got several Amouage brand travel sprays. I start spraying on the box they come in but some smell very different on skin ( looking at you epic!).

Travel sized perfume bottles are a convenient way to sample a perfume without the full commitment to a larger bottle. The minis are usually handy to have in your handbag too. I only wish that all brands that have these minis would have a spray top instead of some that have a stopper in them – I find those fiddly to open.

I really wish travel sizes and roller balls were more popular – especially for colognes.
It really helps me see how scents wear on me as I find myself very selective about scents based on how they shift and how long they last.

Oh, I prefer and love them! I cannot afford to buy full size bottles of every perfume I love (there’s a lot of them). Also, I never use up full size bottles so having 5ml-10ml is so much easier to store and wear.

I rarely finish a bottle of perfume, so travel sizes are great. Spray atomizers are the best for catching the depth of the notes. For actual travel, I prefer a rollerball because it’s very discrete. (I don’t want to spray in public.) Even miniature dabbers are great when you want your perfume to hug close to the skin but last longer. Plus, the miniature bottles are sooo cute.

When my daughter and I took our trip to Europe, oh how long ago and in a different life that seems, we took travel size perfumes. The obvious reason is to save space and keep liquids under the maximum but I agree with many others that they make sense for trying new perfumes without making a break the bank investment.

Love them! I like the spray bottles best and next mini’s that look like the big bottle. I won’t by roller balls because I feel like they are unhygienic. I feel like something about the roller application makes the fragrance significantly different than using an atomizer. I can’t trust them to represent the full size.
