Mascara and I don’t even have to think about it! I usually forgo it because it’s a whole thing. I have short lashes that point straight down so I *have* to use waterproof mascara AND curl my lashes. Waterproof mascara is a PAIN to remove so I always ask myself “do you think you’ll have the energy to remove this tonight?” and the answer is usually no lol

And curling my lashes is a whole process too. I have to do it in 3 sections for 15-20 seconds each. If I get a decent curl then applying the mascara is actually worse because the lashes reach my flat eyelids too closely so I get mascara smear all over my lids. I need a mascara guard but then that is yet another tool & step! Like I need a nap now just explaining all this lol

This is an easy one…..Putting on my face an essence, wait 10 minutes….putting on a moisturizer, wait 10 minutes to absorb….putting on an oil (in winter), wait 10 minutes….putting on sunscreen, wait 10 minutes to absorb….putting on a primer……FINALLY getting to put on my foundation…….Whew !!!

Honestly my summer look has been browcara and a red lip. It’s a good look for brunettes imo. Bypasses the annoying brow architecture/mascara wand wiggling.

Mascara for me too… I have yet to find an eyelash curler that will curl my stick straight lashes and/or not pinch part of my lid. If I manage to get them somewhat bent upwards, only waterproof mascara will hold them up. I don’t want to try a fire curler so I’ve given up and just leave them straight.

Under eye concealer. I must have just about every one ever made, high end and low. While some are better than others, none is perfect and by the end of the day, they all look the worse for wear. But I’m so pale and my under eye circles are so blue that I need concealer – it’s a step I can’t really omit (wish I could) and it’s so time consuming to get a half decent result.

Same here. In the end, any concealer makes my wrinkles more pronounced. Also, mascara. I always have this, scientifically unproven feeling, that mascara applied daily somehow weakens my already quite poor lashes, so there’s this love and hate relationship there between my mascara and myself.

Brows. I enjoy the challenge of trying to do them every day to my preferred shape……however it always takes five times longer than necessary and they never actually look good at all when I’m done. How that’s possible when I’m starting with decent brows to begin with, I don’t know. Powders, pomades, waxes, browscaras, gels, pencils, pens, soap, etc… Yeah, I’d wave a wand and skip that step if possible. I don’t even mind, and mostly enjoy, the others.

I’ve never been a fan of putting on mascara. To me, it’s there and if it doesn’t look great it’s a production to start over or fix unlike shadows or blush, which can be buffed over. Yep, I have a stand-off with mascara daily.

I also have to say brows. Not that it takes a long time, but getting them to at least appear to belong to the same face is so hard!
They used to be at just about the same height, but now one is much lower than the other. I try to make them appear at the same height, but of course it doesn’t really work.
I’m guessing the only thing that will help is plastic surgery, something I can’t afford, at least not now.
Crowdfunding idea: Help me get my eyebrows to match, cost $8000.
Oh, dear, no I’m not going to try. Just having fun all by my self,, looking at the screen. 😀
