What was the last hair care product you finished? Give us a mini review!
Alterna Caviar Thermal Heat Protectant Spray, which is the second bottle I’ve used up. I always use it before blow drying my hair. It’s not too highly fragranced and seems to do the job well enough.
AG Firewall flatiron spray. It’s GREAT stuff and I had a can in reserve for when I finished it. It really seems to protect my hair while flatironing and leaves it smoother and more glossy than when I don’t use it.
A k18 mini. Definitely impacted the texture of my hair in a positive way. Already have a new one!
I was just reading about this treatment, now I think I’ll have to try it.
Thanks for the little review!
A random bottle of Tresemme conditioner in travel size (the white and black, can’t remember the range) I purchased desperately from my local Safeway because I finished by Paula’s Choice conditioner and that product was out of stock for too long and even when it went back the order ended up arriving without that product.
It was ok, didn’t damaged my hair, was a decent product… but I hated it was scented and as always when I try other products, it reminded me how much I love the Paula’s Choice one. 😅
I’m pretty sure that the very last hair product of any sort was my yearly liter of Paul Mitchell Lavender Mint Moisturizing Tea Tree Shampoo. My hair absolutely LOVES this one! Normally, my very thick, though fine, curly texture hair will easily knot up with quite a many shampoos I’ve tried over many years, but this formula deep cleans my scalp while sparing my length of my hair. Oh, and it smells thoroughly DIVINE! I also use the same brand and type for my conditioner as well. Love BOTH!
Amika the cure conditioner. I have dry, fine hair prone to frizz and easily damaged. I thought this was thoroughly ok. If I was gifted it I’d use it, but I don’t think I would purchase it again for my hair type. I think it’s better suited to people looking for light/weightless conditioning and I actually think it would work well for people wanting that.
Bridgeo – The rice water protein treatment… essential product for me as I bleach my hair. Gives my hair flex and bounce
The original formula of Christophe Robin Regeneration hair mask..
Which I swear by.
Since I first purchased it the company was sold and the and the formula has changed.
Judging from the reviews not for the better.
Gisou Hair Oil. Love this for my highlighted hair. It makes it shiny and even more of a baby blonde. But, I dilute it. I have a second bottle empty and mix 3/4 oil to 1/4 water, shake it up and use it that way. If I put it on full strength it would leave my fine hair greasy. It’s like the little train that could….I use it 5 days a week and there never seems to be a dent in it. Amazing.
L’Oréal Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water Lamellar rinse-out treatment.
It really is 8 seconds to silkier, shinier, healthier looking and feeling hair. I use it a few times a week, and I think it really makes a difference in how my hair looks and feels. I also find that right after I use it, my natural waves look more… wavy. :). You know what I mean?
I second this! This stuff is amazing! Gives results like a deep conditioner but takes less time than a regular conditioner. Genius! I’m so glad a drugstore brand came out with this formula first, because if I had to pay more for it, I would….but wouldn’t want to. 🙂
The last hair product I finished was the L’Oreal Vitamino shampoo for coloured hair – this shampoo nourishes the scalp, cleans my hair without making it greasy. I always have a spare bottle.
L’Oreal Elvive Purple Shampoo and Conditioner. I used to use Clairol Shimmer Lights, but I never liked its overpowering scent, so I tried Elvive. It worked very well at toning the “salt” of my salt & pepper hair, bringing out the silver without making it look purple. It’s pretty intense, so I only need to use this product every third time I shampoo my hair.
Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3, my fine thin hair was breaking off, I don’t use hot tools on my hair everyday just twice a week but that’s enough to do damage. This helps and I’ve had to cut my bangs twice in the last three weeks so I know it’s working. I only get my hair cut twice a year, it doesn’t grow very fast and it breaks so much that I don’t need to. We’ll see if the rest of my hair follows suit.
It’s a 10 leave in silk conditioner. There is something about the smell that brings me back to those summer days. I’ve used up 4 bottles since I’ve found it. I’ve used at least 3 bottles of the dupe which you can get at Sally’s beauty supply. Then I saw it on sale one day on Ulta, I bought them up. So happy I did.
Olaplex. I like to buy the kits when Sephora has them on sale. Keeps my colored hair shiny and soft.
Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo. Expensive but lasts me a long time. I have short coloured hair and Gold Lust the shampoo and conditioner leave it really moisturized and soft. The shampoo is not overly running and really foams. I usually save up my SpaceNK points to get money off.
My last favorite that I finished was Oribe Brilliance (I believe), the shampoo and the conditioner in small or sample sizes. I thought I used some quality hair products and then I tried Oribe. Now I’ll have to buy full sizes and try others! I’ve been going through lots of bottles of Deesse’s WillowLuxe shampoo and the hair treatment (in tender feel or something close when sold out). It made my scalp feel very clean and my hair as well without stripping it too much or causing me to have to use 1 shampoo / cleanser for scalp and another for the shaft of my hair. I believe they’re discontinued although I can still get ‘em on Amazon.
