Only because it’s recently become available in store for me, I have to say Charlotte Tilbury. I’ve not fallen down her “Magic” rabbit hole but I do like the eyeshadow quads I have from the company and I do want to try a pressed powder of hers that sounds nice and almost “Magic”! Other than that, nothing… I think the past 2+ years has really dulled the whole makeup panoply and also made me focus so much more on all the products I have and need to use more often.
It has been a rather dull year so far in terms of my excitement for product. I have a fabulous stash. No complaints. Money better used elsewhere.
‘I have a fabulous stash.’ Would be a great tee w/a credit to Christine. But can you imagine the misinterpretations? I’d have to say TMS, given packing (right, Nancy?) Some products have piqued my interest, but not enough to see live or purchase, esp when I’m duped to the gills. No 21 days, no Beautylish gift card sale. Let’s see if I can make it a Trifecta with no Sephora sale, either. Packing can spiral you into self-shame, since you realize you have been too acquisitive in multiple depts. Why do I have a size 4 anything at my age…and weight?
I can’t resist stocking up on ‘boring items I don’t want to pay full price for’ during big S sale. No trifecta here, but I did avoid 21 days and BL gift card.

I have only bought a few items this year, and I don’t think I’d go so far as to call any brand i”ntriguing.”. If anything, several have become less so.
Isn’t it interesting that you, Wednesday and I, makeup “addicts” all, are all feeling much the same? I wonder how much of it is Pandemic related and how much is just having large stashes and, in reality, so much of so much that it’s hard to get excited about new stuff.

Blend Bunny Cosmetics has had some phenomenal releases and I’d love to see you review them! Honestly no brand has been this exciting to me for a while.
None. Anything interesting was drowned out by all the private label garbage coming out of celebrities this year and last.
I would have to agree with the majority sentiment here too. No particular brand has stood out for me this year either. But 2022 is still young and maybe something startling will evolve during the year.
I think a lot of brands have been seriously struggling due to the pandemic and global shipping problems.
And it’s not as if any of us here are going to run out of makeup soon!
I was just thinking the other day that my stash is more than complete and I really don’t need anymore. But then again, if Lorac comes out with any more beauties I could very well be tempted!
