Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Wrote out a long reply and lost my internet connection. Anyway, it’s probably Physician’s Formula based on my disappointment with their Happy Glow Mood Boosting (or whatever it was called – it was a mouthful and a LOT to live up to) blush in Rose. It looked like it would be perfect – a cool, rosy pink mix of hearts of varying shades of pink and rose – and it should have been perfect but it was absolutely lacking in pigment. That, coupled with a “shimmer bricks” type of product of theirs (not strictly a blush but still a cheek product) has made me unwilling to try the brand again.

I’m neither a PF nor a pink devotee. And darker in skintone than you. The depotted version of this lives in the container above Meteorites’ padding. With all my m/u packed, it stayed out by accident. Idk how it works for me as an almost not see blush, but it does. No other PF in stash….hmmm

Now a brand may not have an extensive shade range or few different formulas but in general I think most brands do blush right or at least well enough. I never liked Colourpop”s blush, even the super shock formula and they only ever really do one or two colors so they are an easy pass

Now I am not an expert in blushes ike I am more in eyeshadows, so I can’t say which medium and high end brand doesn’t do them well.
I do know that many of the blushes from DS brands are not that great and I think it is one of a few products (like eyeshadows) that you have to pay that bit more for to get a good one.
This is where we rely on you Christine to help us out choosing an excellent blush, with lasting power and the finish we like from a variety of brands.
