Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Buxom Wanderlust Primer Infused Blush in Seychelles. It’s a perfectly fine blush. It’s just not special enough esp for the $26 price tag. I feel so meh about it!

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiant Cream Concealer. For one I picked a shade too light for me so it looks chalky. Second, it’s not radiant or creamy. It’s actually quite drying

La Mer Face Cream. On the plus side, it’s obscenely generic with cheap and basic ingredients (no SPF, no real actives) but with a hefty price tag. On the worst side, it dried the h$ll out of my skin and in fact made it bumpy and scaly and I had to use another cream to fix the damage it did to my skin!

I won’t declutter them but I could because I don’t use them and could live without them: MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Family Silver (but it’s so pretty and I was so happy to get it in my early days of MAC); MAC Early Morning Mineralize Blush – just waaaay too orange; Nars Radiant Creamy concealer….it’s neither radiant nor creamy but I’m determined to keep wearing it from time to time til I finish it up. I don’t know why, because it’s so bad but it was pricey and I’m stubborn!

Next month is my whole house deep clean which will include looking at every piece of makeup I own and destashing, so I’m starting to think about this!

1) Tarte Maneater mascara. I grabbed a bunch of sample mascaras because I’m trying to replace Too Faced Better Than Sex, and this one sucks.

2) Whatever brow pencils I still have laying around for some reason even though I don’t use them anymore because I started doing Ardell brow tint.

3) ColourPop pretty fresh primer. It makes me look greasy and sallow. Glad I only bought a mini.

Stila Suede Shade liquid shadows in Nude Awakening and Smoky Silk; Supergoop Shimmershade SPF in Sunset and Daydream. This is either two or four, depending on how you treat shades. The Stila shadows are not good colors for me. The Supergoop’s spf protection has expired and they don’t work as well as powders in similar shades. They will go when I feel like emptying out the containers for recycling. (Not quite there yet for decluttering would be ABH Modern Renaissance. I have dupes for the four shades I occasionally use.)

The threee products I am decluttering right now are:
CP’s lipstick 21 Questions – love the shade, but loathe the vanilla taste/scent.
Cetaphill’s Gentle Exfoliating Scrub – used it twice and it irritated the hell out of my face – not that gentle!
DB’s Honey Bronze lipstick that broke in the tube on one of our hot and humid days – bummer, because I love the shade.

I just repurchased new mini mascaras so the open ones I’ll go along with some out of date concealer. If plan to purchase some fresh blush and the old will go. I think I need to discard some of my makeup brushes too. I must think about my eyeshadow collection too. As my eyes have gotten older, I tend to weat more neutral colors but continued to buy brighter ones. Those will go to my girls.

Stila Heavens Hue Highlighter in Kitten. No idea what I was thinking (I wasn’t, it was an impulse buy.). I tossed two MAC mascaras given me, the wand was like spikes; pointy and painful.
