Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I know….kind shocking, isn’t it. Though when it comes to the general term of “colour cosmetics” as in “what type of colour cosmetic have you repurchased most”, it would be “eyeshadow”.

I would have to go back many years for the answer – before I acquired a variety of color options. I repurchased Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick 7 times and Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick #518B called Whispering Dunes about a dozen times. It has been a long time since I have used either one but I loved them back in the day.

Nars Orgasm blush, it is my perfect color. I’ve tried to find other brands with similar colors but I keep coming back, and since I switched to the liquid version I don’t have the glitter problem. I hate the bottle though–it’s messy and it leaks and the pump clogs, I end up decanting some of it into a small dropper bottle, I bought small empty eyedrops bottles online, which are actually quite handy for skincare while traveling.

Sephora 12 hr. Eye contour eyeliners, Charlotte Tillbury kissing lipsticks, also her glosses, love the texture, and longevity of these glosses! And, the Flawless Airbrushed pressed powder.

Ulta Gel Eyeliner Pencil. I only found out about them maybe a year ago, but since then I’ve added every color into my collection and gone through a couple of the black/brown. I absolutely love them and they don’t irritate my eyes. I go through eyeliner a lot so thankfully they aren’t expensive either.

If we’re talking just color cosmetic…
*Lipsticks: MAC Teddy and Diva
*Cheek products: MAC Harmony and Sculpt, honorable mention to discontinued Breath of Plum and Emphasize (both discontinued, otherwise I would still repurchase them)
*Eyeshadows: MAC Satin Taupe
*Eyeliner: Physician’s Formula Eye Booster, and honorable mention for Marc Jacobs eyeliner in Blaquer (ok, I purchased it once for me, but like several many other times as a present to my mom).

By far and away, MAC Nightmoth lip liner and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Red lippies in all it’s formula’s. I use the lip liner the most but I also have the lipstick and the gloss. It remains one of my favorite reds. I use Nightmoth so much. I use it as a lip liner as intended but when I want to make any product appear deeper, add a touch of purple/red to another color, I simply use a brush on the pencil and mix it in with whatever product I am using.

Revlon lipsticks in Blushing Mauve and Blushed. MAC eyeshadow in Naked Lunch. Clinique eyeliner in Plum. I’m in a rut with my makeup and need to venture a little.

Benefit Roller Lash mascara and Bare minerals Prime Time BBcream in light. The latter is my all-time favourite and the best BB with mineral sunscreen I’ve ever tried.

Buxom gloss? Rimmel Boho Nude? Boho Nude was my first foray in to what beigey/brownie nudes bring to the table for me. Loved it. Went with everything. I bought like five of them when I realized they were discontinued. My only regret about that is the base has quite a lot of white to it and that doesn’t hold up so good against the nudes of today.
