If you could indulge in one ridiculously expensive beauty product right now (free of cost!), what would it be?

Definitely perfume-related since I’m going through a phase, and many of those bottles are incredibly expensive. Profumum Roma Patchouly, Sorriso, or Santalum for now…

That’s a tough one, sort of…. The perfumes you’ve been writing about sound very tempting but there’s nowhere I could sample them so wouldn’t want to be spending a ton on an unknown scent (though some of Penhaligon’s perfumes have tempted me for years…). So I’d probably say a honking massive bottle of Chanel 19 perfume (only the perfume – I don’t like 19 in its other forms) or maybe that very pricey foundation Chanel makes (I don’t even know the name of it and it’s funny because I rarely even wear foundation in any case….)

Either Creed Green Irish Tweed or Silver Mountain water. If anyone likes F/M Creeds, make sure you follow Muse for a CosBar 50% sale. Creeds are not out of control expensive, but w/ a prospective 9K for first, last, security, I’m hardly in the market for beauty/scent buys.

Probably also perfume, as it is SO expensive for the good stuff. But I don’t have anything in mind, exactly, I just want money to buy things that smells nice.

Probably a by Kilian perfume, but I don’t even know which one I’d pick. Black Phantom Memento Mori is vying with Noir Aphrodisiaque for my current favorite, but my husband definitely prefers the latter. Currently wearing Intoxicated, which smells like a head shop on me but a very NICE and soft head shop! It’s giving me nostalgia for all the bead shops and hippie hangouts I frequented in my teens.

Hmmm – I love really good perfumes and the ones you’ve been reviewing lately have sorely tempted me, but seriously I can’t afford those – here in Aus they are double the price. I would have to sample them first too.
Juliette Has a Gun would be one that I would buy, Dior’s La Dolce Vita (large bottle thanks) would be another, Bottega Veneta – a third. I wouldn’t mind some more of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid either……

I think I’d like a shopping spree through Hakuhodo’s brush collection! On a slightly different note, and not beauty related, my dream unlimited budget purchase would be multiple Cire Trudon candles. They’re between $130-$400 each but there are quite a few that sound amazing. I’ll buy one some day…

I’ve been going crazy with the perfume lately as well. The perfumer’s set by Guerlain comes to mind, but I’d also be interested in the Dior Privee, by Killian, or Christian Louboutin Loubiworld Travel sets.

I would order the entire line of eyeshadows and pigments from Sigil in Russia. The products themselves are quite reasonable but the shipping and iffy import duty is intimidating. The giant Creme de la Mer would be second choice. Although since Estée Lauder bought the company I wonder about the integrity of the original formula.

Where do you buy Profumum Roma in the States? I bought a bottle in Rome, fell in love and can’t find it here. My favorites are Confetto and Vanitas. Thanks!

Laser hair removal. Everyone I know who has gotten it says it’s worth the price and that I would be a great candidate (I’m crazy pale with black hair).

That’s hard because I really need a particularly perfume that I like and have run out of (though it’s not extremely expense), but I’d love to try some crazy expense facial cream (day-night-serum set), say from La Mer.
