Hmmm…probably MAC 239, two Sonia Kashuk unnumbered brushes (one a great crease/blending brush and one similar to the 239 but smaller), a MAC 213 (I think that’s the number….it’s really small and perfect for putting a brightening shade at the inner corners of my eyes or placing a small amount of dark shadow at the outer V) and finally, the Smashbox Detailer #15 (though it’s hard not to include my Sephora short, stubby smudger brush for smuding out liner).

I have no idea what the brushes I use are called or named, but I do know that I reach for:
A Real Techniques angled cheek blush brush
A kind of fluffy brush that I use to put all my light coloured shades on my lids
A double sided brush (from out of one UD’s palettes) – the thicker side to place eyeshadow on my lower lid and the more dense side to place some shadow in the crease
A fluffy brush to blend
A thin brush to place eyeshadow next to the lashline.

MAC 127, MAC 127, MAC 127, MAC 127, MAC 127 😆 Give me 5 of these and I’m perfectly satisfied, since I’d only have to wash brushes once a week.
But if we want diversity I’ll have MAC 127 as an universal blender, MAC 129 for details, MAC 234 as a multi-tasker, MAC 242 for shading (especially shades with lots of fallout), MAC 224 for diffused blending

The old Sephora Collection 15 and 18 (both are flat, more traditional eyeshadow brushes, just different sizes), a Wayne Goss crease blending brush ( I got it in a Beautylish grab bag and the number is gone) a Vasanti narrower crease blending brush (got it in a subscription box) and then a Sonia G Sky fluffy crease brush. The first four I’d be lost without. I do like the entire Sonia G Sky set, but find myself reaching automatically for the first four every time.
The double-ended brushes from 5 of my Urban Decay palettes-Electric, Stoned Vibes, and Nakeds Ultraviolet, Wild West, and Cyber.
Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush from the Starter Eye Set (perfect for my crease), MAC 239 (packing shadows on the lid), e.l.f. Smudger Brush, e.l.f. “C” Brush, and any blending brush that’s not too big and fluffy.
Honorable Mention: A Tarte lash curler (theirs are the only ones that fit my eyes properly).
I use MAC 239? every day for all shades going on the mobile lid, except for inner corner, but I can use it there as well.
Wayne Goss 16, I think for crease and transition.
A fluffy brush for browbone, I have no idea where it’s from.
A very small flat brush with rounded corners for inner corner and every shade under the lower lashes, I think this one is from Face Stockholm.
If I want a slightly fluffier brush for the mobile lids I use Sonia G Worker2 or 3, I can’t recall.
I really need to get some new brushes, but forgot over the sales, I guess I’ll save up for some good ones and get them from Beautylish, it seems they have quite a lot of good ones to chose from. I think I saw a Smith one I fancied there.
