NYFW Fall 2009 Walter Fashion Show Hair Breakdown
Walter | Scott Fantana
Scott Fontana, stylist and owner of Badass Hair gave the models at the Walter show some rock and roll hair that matched the edgy, sexy vibe of the collection. Scott and his team styled the girls using Badass Hair products. The style was a teased, tousled updo accented with velvet wrap around ribbon and feather pins.
“I wanted the hair to reflect the clothes and the whole edgy attitude that makes the Walter collection so cool. The updo was messy while still being chic, lots of teasing, but still really feminine,” says Fontana.
To create the style, Fontana used Badass Hair products including “Up All Night” to create volume, “Free” (a working hair spray) to tease the hair, “Lock Up” hair spray to hold the hair in place, and “Light It Up” hair shine to give the style a gorgeous sheen!

Hmmm…just can’t understand why having hair that looks like a filthy, ratty bird’s nest is considered fashion. I see this hairstyle all the time, and it’s worn by homeless crackheads who can’t afford shampoo and can’t find a shower. But the model is beautiful.
Does anyone know where I can get a hairpiece like that?! Or failing that, the actual same one?!
So pretty! I actually really like the hair.
I think this is beautiful, but in all honesty I think the head piece is all that makes it, the rest wouldn’t be so hot.
I think this is beautiful… I really love messy looking hair.
Walter Baker! I saw his daughter with this hair style. She has very bright blonde hair and it looks AMAZING on her. The contrast between her blonde hair and the thin black wrap was awesome. She wanted to wear it to school. lol
