ColourPop Glossy Lip Stain Swatches
ColourPop Glossy Lip Stain ($8.00 for 0.21 fl. oz.) is now a full-fledged range that includes nine shades (it was originally debuted in the Cherry Crush collection earlier this month). Heads up: most light and mid-tone shades get darker after a few minutes and tend to go more reddish/pinkish as the stain develops.
I just love it (not) when lip products change colour – so these, if I wore them, would annoy me. But there are some lovely shades here and I wish they were lipsticks instead.
Or when the color of the bullet has nothing to do with the color applied. Arrrrgh.
Very much looking forward to your review of these! I’m planning on getting some if they’re good, the colors are right up my alley!
Christine, in terms of longevity of wear and staining, as well as texture, how do you think these compare to the YSL Glossy Stains?
The texture isn’t as tacky or as gel-like – it has more slide during wear, I’d say, than the Glossy Stains. The wear is shorter than Glossy Stains as well! They are not a bad alternative for you know, a fraction of the price, of course!
