Do you layer lipsticks?
I definitely have and do, though I’m more likely to use a lipstick and then a gloss on top to alter color, but if I have something in mind… I will layer to get my vision!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I have, but rarely.
I used to try putting glosses over liquid mattes to add dimension and moisture and it would make them gloopy.
I do find though that Mac Fleshpot is a great mixing base for so many lipsticks and glosses, to tone them down or add opacity.
No, I don’t even apply multiple lip products (like using lipstick along lip liner or lip gloss). For me it’s just a swipe of one lipstick and that’s it
Not often, but sometimes I do. Especially if I’m trying to deepen or change the tone of an existing lipstick I own that needs a little tweaking for a specific look I’m going for.
Sometimes I will to tweak a color that doesn’t look good on me. I’m more likely to layer a lipstick with lipliner or gloss, though.
Very often. I’ll even mix formulas sometimes.
Do I ever! Ha! It used to be more complicated. I’d mix using a palette, brushes, palette knives. Since the pandemic happened and masks became mandatory to enter the world (still are where I live), I’ve tried simplifying things, only using a lip treatment or balm with a bit of color but I end up wanting more color or a more defined lip line. The former makeup artist in me (pre-Instagram and You Tube makeup artists and tutorials) will probably never die. I’m doing alright with trying to use fewer products that make my lips feel good yet I haven’t tried Sara Happ yet.
