Thank you for the swatches! This looks like Metropolis curated into a 15 pan 🤨
Flow, mantra and breath are the only colors I really love in this palette… I hope there are good dupes!!
This palette looks amazing and I wanted to spring on it, but when I put my fingers over the pops of color…I realize I have this palette. Several times over.
So it’s a pass.
But if Natasha Denona ever gets around to releasing a full-sized version of her Mini Retro, all bets are off.
Hmm, Calm and Breath don’t look very pigmented, the rest seem ok.
Pink and green is easily my least favorite color combination ever (and it looks terrrrrible on my skin) and that’s all I see when I look at this palette. Also, I just don’t love ND’s formula. I have one of her $129 palettes and it’s ok. I don’t reach for it often. Seeing her come out with palettes left and right with color stories that don’t appeal to me has been pretty nice. Means I can save those dollars! (she says after having spent probably $100 so far this year on makeup despite trying to be low-buy)
I like it but I thought that light blue shimmer was more of a mint color. I’m down for the pink/coral shades but the other colors are an odd addition IMO.
But I love the brand 🌷will get this.. I loved the packaging on the last one but would never use most of those shades.
I don’t need this, but I want it. I do not wear teals or greens usually.. and many of these remind me of other palettes. That said, I do love the looks of vigor and sense. This largely depends on how close the dupes are going to be.
This isn’t a color story that I lean towards, but it is very pretty and looks like it swatches quite nicely. I like the smaller pan sizes so if I was needing a color story like this it would have my full attention! If the right two columns were a 6 pan mini mini palette I would love that. I really like the color/texture of Equilibrium.
I have zero interest in this palette, most eyeshadows are colors I would never wear; but I need the dupe list for Equilibrium. 😅
This is not my color story, but I’m surprised that several of the mattes look a bit patchy.
I think I could be the only one into the universe not excited nor impressed by this launch. Basically the colour story is the standard warm neutral that we are seeing in every mainstream palette over the past 5 years (at least). According to the swatches The few pops of colour seems to lean more neutral than the pan. Yes I know that neutral are safw ground, but I wish that the mainstream would take inspiration from indie brands to provide also something more innovative and funny. Btw I am not doubiting that this palette will have its fair amount of appreciation by the beauty community.
It’s alright. I noticed that most of the shimmers in here just aren’t her usual super shiny, dimensional finishes. Kind of a letdown, I suppose. The shade composition is interesting, though.
Love the swatches and can’t wait to see how this performs.
Zeal looks like brown in the on and slightly olive-toned brown to me but listed as medium-dark green in the shade description… maybe more obvious in person. I was hoping for a darker brown as a smoke shade so I’ll have to pull from another palette.
Would not be a good purchase for me. I like Flow (guessing I’ve got dupes galore), Equilibrium (ditto) and Yama. Sense looks like it could be wearable for me too but 4 shadows (at least 2 of which I’ve several dupes for) = not the wisest of purchases. I just can’t wear colours like Vigor, Relief and Aura and they look like they might well stain the skin (especially Vigor).
I have the mini version of Zendo and love it. I really like ND palettes, and have quite a few, but I passed on the Circo Loco because I wouldn’t get very much use from it. I was not sure about this new palette from promo pics, but the swatches you did are lovely. I will wait for your review, but I have a feeling this will be in my collection soon.
Thank you for doing this. The overall appearance is so tempting but these swatches confirm that I should not buy. The pinks are way too similar and the greens are weak and dingy. Sneaky little palette.
I’m not quite as impressed with this offering as I first thought because some of my favourite shades here are in a matte formula (Zeal and Mantra), plus I think there are too many pinks for my liking. And the brown shades of Mindful and Balance seem out of place here in this colourful palette.
At first glance it is interesting, then when you really look at it, it’s not really something that I could get a lot of use out of.
With your swatches, I do see the mini Zendo vibe. So much so that I think it actually covers the most interesting shades for me. I wonder if this palette will be popular.
I picked this up during the pre-sale and used it for the first time this morning. I enjoyed using it and liked the look I created.
I was almost hoping this didn’t swatch well so I’d have a reason not to want it lol. The swatches look amazing though and I love NDs eyeshadow formula. This color story is calling my name so im definitely going to buy it. I love my Mini Zendo palette but I still don’t think this one looks like it goes with the mini
I like this palette. I would have considered getting it instead of the Love and Sunrise, except there aren’t enough light shades for my pale skin. However, I love the mattes. I love that I can pop shades out and make my custom palette. I’m really hoping the next middy palette has more mattes at the light and deep ends of the color spectrum.
I really wish I hadn’t missed out on the Safari. Sigh.
