Last product you returned? Marc Jacobs Edgitorial palette
Last product you bought on impulse? probably Marc Jacobs Prim!O eyeshadow (because it was on sale at Sephora so clearly on its way out; it’s a shadow I’d often considered getting but I had so many dupes that I didn’t want to splash out the original price).
Last product you finished? Either Clarins Super Restorative eye cream or Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Last product you returned? The wrong shade of the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing Concealer.
Last product you bought on impulse? The BareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer in Kiss of Pink and I don’t regret it whatsoever. It’s a BEAUTIFUL blush.
Last product you finished? e.l.f. cosmetics Wow Brow. So good and a better, more cost effective replacement for Glossier Boy Brow.

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair).
Last product you returned? It’s been awhile, so my memory is a little rusty here, but I think it may have been Tom Ford Honeymoon quad? There may have been something else in between, but recall fails me.
Last product you bought on impulse? Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream! It’s absolute perfection after a day at the pool once I’ve showered up.
Last product you finished? My beloved winter moisturizer, Drunk Elephant Protini Peptide cream.
Your skin tone – medium/golden
Last product you returned – Natasha Denona lipliner. It was awful on me. Looked like a corpse on my lips.
Last product you bought on impulse Sisley blush – stupid expensive, but so gorgeous.
Last product you finished – Bobbie Brown extra balm spf 25. Love this.
Which Sisley blush? I’ve been eyeing the golden one (the #4 shade) for so long but can’t bring myself to drop $80 on it!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; burgundy hair; hazel/green eyes.
Last product you returned? If not for the pandemic, it would have been the Melt 420 Palette, which I bought April 2020. I don’t remember the actual last thing, as I rarely make returns, so it’s been years.
Last product you bought on impulse? KVD Everlasting Blush in Rosebud. I love it:. The formula is great, and the color is really flattering on me.
Last product you finished? A mini UD Perversion Mascara, and a full sized NYX Angel Veil primer. I did not repurchase the NYX Angel Veil, even though it used to be my go-to. It wasn’t working for my post-menopausal skin type without mixing it with a more hydrating primer.
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20
Last product you returned? Probably 3 or 4 years ago when I returned the It Cosmetics CC Cream. I try not to return and to be more conscious of my purchases bc it’s wasteful and a terrible inconvenience!
Last product you bought on impulse? Estée Lauder Double Wear pressed powder. I wasn’t expecting to buy but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it. I’m oily so this is a good powder for me!
Last product you finished? L’Oréal Root Cover Up
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium with yellow warm undertones, dark brown hair and eyes.
Last product you returned? I never return stuff; I either gift it or find another use.
Last product you bought on impulse? I have my purchases so well planned and I mostly re-purchase stuff, I don’t even remember the last big cosmetic impulse buy. Maybe the Drunk Elephant mini body products set I bought last year just to get my Sephora birthday gift.
Last product you finished? Finished as thrown out, the MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara, which was at the 3 months mark and really dry.
Finished as squeezed even the last drop, the Verb Ghost Prep Heat Protectant.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Last product you returned? That would be the Cover FX duo in Cinnamon that I returned to Sephora because it was just too dark for me a couple of years ago.
Last product you bought on impulse? Smashbox’s Petal Metal – I bought one for my daughter in law’s birthday and I liked it so much that I bought one for myself. And I still like it.
Last product you finished? The Ordinary’s Moroccan Argon Oil – just finished the bottle!

Last product you returned? It’s been years since I’ve returned makeup anywhere. I only buy things for myself based on reviews and if I end up getting anything I wouldn’t use (like in a beauty box) i give it away as gifts.
Last product you bought on impulse? Probably the Copacetics Cosmetics $2 Tuesday deal. It’s not a brand I’ve tried before and my friend said they are “just okay” but I want to try for myself.
Last product you finished? Benefit They’re Real mascara (or more, it was almost done and getting old for mascara)
Skin tone / coloring ? Medium tan leaning into warm.
Last product returned ? I’m about to return a Cle de Peau cushion foundation …the shade is just too light and the “radiance” looks and feels a bit oily .
Impulse ? A Hermès lipstick … I finally got to see them in person …expensive but I really love it.
Last product I finished ? My Estée Lauder Revitalizing Global Supreme ..I use this at night only over my serums and love how hydrated my skin feels.I use their “Day Wear SPF 15 during the day.
Last product you returned? I’ve actually never returned a product. Not because I’m not open to it but because I’ve been lucky enough that no major purchase of mine has been a complete fail. Although I need a product to be a pretty big fail for me to consider returning it!
Last product you bought on impulse? The Peripera Colorfit Water Gel Tint that I got at CVS while in New Jersey with a friend right before the pandemic hit last year. I used to make the occasion drugstore impulse purchase while grocery shopping but now I take every single purchase into great consideration
Last product you finished? The Colourpop Créme Gel Liner in “Juniper”. It wasn’t a true finish, it kept breaking on me every time I used it so it’s use was expedited greatly
Your skin tone/coloring? Light neutral with slight yellow undertones and ruddiness due to rosacea, combination skin, NC 16/17 in MAC
Last product you returned? It was right after the Sephora sale, I exchanged the Dior Forever Matte I’d ordered in 1.5N for 0N. It has a pretty finish but holy cow, does that stuff oxidize on me.
Last product you bought on impulse? Ulta had a GWP I really wanted recently, and I needed to order my serum, so I added Colourpop’s Bare Essentials palette and NARS Rosecliff lipstick to my order. The Bare Essentials palette is making me happy — it’s full of nice warm neutrals, corresponds well to Stone Cold Fox (which I also have), and will keep me in the boring eyeshadow shades I love for a while. Rosecliff was less successful — it’s the type of mauve that turns very gray on me. I was torn about returning it, but I think I might experiment with it for a while or gift it to a friend instead.
Last product you finished? L’Oreal Voluminous Waterproof mascara in black-brown. I normally like my black-brown mascaras to be closer to brown, but this one is a nice neutral charcoal and holds up well. I have another one in my drawer, ready to go.
