Bobbi Brown Shadow Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick Review, Photos, Swatches
Bobbi Brown Shadow Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick
Bobbi Brown Shadow Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick ($28.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a “smoky blue grey.” It’s a creamy, subtly cool-toned gray with a hint of brown. Â It’s a dark, gray-heavy taupe. Â Maybelline Tough as Taupe is similar, but it’s lighter. MAC Keep Your Cool is a touch darker and a powder product. MAC Stolen Moment is frosted.
Shadow has a delightfully creamy consistency that makes applying it very easy and quick; it’s blendable, opaque, and covers evenly.  However, that creaminess does have a price–it takes a bit longer to dry down, and it is prone to very faint creasing while it is drying down.  I recommend lightly blending the product about 5-10 seconds after applying, which helps to minimize/eliminate any creasing while it is drying down.  When worn, Shadow lasted for seven hours well, but there was faint creasing after seven and a half hours.

Aaah, did you say prone to creasing? No thanks then.
No, she said there was just a longer dry time and it was prone to faint creasing while drying.
You may have just made me change my mind about Bobbi Brown. That color is soooo beautiful. Plus, it’ll stay on.
Did you apply it right from the tube or did you use a brush?
From the tube 🙂
Your reviews are always so detailed, and I really appreciate all the hard work you do! You’ve definitely helped me avoid some real duds before!
This color looks like wet clay. I’m not sure how I feel about it.
P.S.The caption under the last picture says both eyeshadow stick colors are Shadow (inner and outer lid).
Thank you, Andie!
This reminds me of the Laura Mercier pencils, if those are still available. I wonder how they compare.
