How do you store your complexion products?
I have a storage unit to the left of my vanity, and I keep a lot of formulas I like in open boxes (reusing Chanel online order boxes) and then far too many ON my vanity top and some favorite formulas in one of the vanity drawers.
Since I only own several, I store them all together in the front slot of one of those cheapo acrylic makeup units. I may be buying another depending on how it holds up under my mask today and tomorrow. I’m going to *try* to remember to use the MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof foundation in NW35 just to see how it holds up with my mask. Try being the operative word as I am seriously sleep deprived these past several weeks.
Favourites in my vanity drawer for easy access
Not so favourites in top drawer of Ikea Alex
I change my mind how I feel about products all the time and I’m trying to use up my considerable stash of complexion products by using bits of them in custom blend. So there is a great deal of traffic between drawers. Right now I’m using three products (LoL): Nars TM, Shiseido synchro, Fenty Matte. It’s going to take me the rest of my life at this rate… 🙄
All of them are either on top of or in the drawers of the Ikea desk I use as a vanity. The primer, foundation and powder I am currently using are in a sectioned acrylic organizer on top. Everything else is in the drawers.
I store the one bottle of foundation that I am using on my ensuite bathroom unit, spare bottles are kept in the cupboard. All my blushes and setting powders are kept in a makeup bag.
I have an IKEA Alex drawer / tabletop vanity setup that I keep foundations, concealers, primers in one drawer, powders in another, bronzers and luxury brand blushes in another. In a separate 5-drawer unit from Michael’s is where the rest of my highlighters, blushes and face palettes live.
The two foundations and BB cream I use regularly live on the organizer at the far end of the bathroom vanity with the weekly cosmetics. I also have a small jar of powder foundation in the skincare drawer in the bathroom as well but I rarely reach for that one.
