I went to their site and (shocker) the lip swatch photos are just photoshopped on each set of lips. They look matte and since mattes make my lips look pruney and glitter emphasizes that I know these wouldn’t be flattering on me. I am keen to know if the claims are true and you can’t feel the glitter and with oils you’d think it’d be hydrating? So many glittery lipsticks are a miss because they feel gritty. If I was in my early 20s with smooth lips I’d love a comfortable non gritty glittery lipstick, but that just isn’t my situation anymore! The packaging is definitely an interesting concept. I don’t need my lipsticks to mimic a brush, but I like that it can go from a somewhat smaller size to popping on the bottom to be a brush style handle if you want it.
I don’t know about these, TBH. As much as I love the Spark line by TF and the the Blitztrance by PML, these appear less smooth. I can readily see the glitter particles and cannot help but wonder how uncomfortable these must feel like worn.
Huh, these look a lot like the glittery ones from Uoma.
I wonder how far in advance launches are planned, because ’tis the season that no one can see that you have jewelry on your lips.
Bah humbug, I wish I could see beautiful lip looks in the wild! Oh well. Maybe someday I’ll see faces wearing lipstick again.
Many brands work at least a year in advance, if not two or more.
These look stunning shades, all quite different and no repeats. I like the bronze metallic one the best. But I also think the coral shade is beautiful too. My only concern would be that the glittery elements in the lipstick would make the lipstick feel ‘gritty’ when applying them. Also when the lipstick fades, would you be left with glittery sparkles on your lips – it would be quite uncomfortable.
That’s what I wonder about, Genevieve — leftover glittery bits that end up everywhere! I like MUFE, and would be interested to see how these look and wear on a real person. The plum one has my vote.
Looks pretty! I love a shiny lip! I was sooo impressed by the lip eye primer! My gloss stayed on for 12 hrs. makes me inclined to try🥰
