What lipstick would you create if you could? Share the brand, color, finish, name!

I’d love a medium-dark, ruby red base with fine, ruby red pearl throughout with a hint of gold pearl paired with a luminous finish–some shine to help lips look smoother, plumper, and softer but not to the point where it would slide around. I think it could be stunning in Hourglass’ Confession Lipstick formula (which is quite long-wearing but comfortable to wear!) or Urban Decay’s Vice Lipstick formula. I’m basically recreating Chanel Dragon Rouge Allure Laque in a solid form, LOL. I’d call it Favored by Luck.

I’d make a duo. I’d basically dupe Jeffree Star’s Velour Liquid Lipstick in Dirty Money in the Urban Decay Comfort Matte Vice bullet formula for one shade, and for the other, I’d do a shimmer version with a fine pearl in a silver and gold mix. I’d call it Cash Grab to go with UD’s naming style, and throw some shade at J*.

I want to get the dark burgundy of Nars Rock With You, in Glossier’s Generation G sheer formula— and make it super hydrating (and not settle in my lip lines.) Potentially impossible? Sheer and dark, but well behaved. Hydrating and moisturizing, but matte. Let’s name it “In Vino Veritas”.

Since every one of my favorite “nude” for me shades gets DC’d, one by Jane many years back, another by Revlon, and now PML’s She’s Heaven!, I would recreate the exact same shade as She’s Heaven! but slightly luminous.
I would call it “Beige Rage”, and have it made in either a Nars Audacious or PML’s Luxetrance formula type. Maybe MAC Amplified…?

I’d create a lighter, slightly more beige version of Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche lipstick in Cava. I’ve been on the hunt for such a shade for a long time – something that could pass as neutral on my skin tone, but still retaining that muted mauve undertone. Formula-wise, I think a matte would be more practical in current times – I quite like the Mega Matte Vice lipsticks from Urban Decay (or at least the one I own, Oblivion), so I’ll go with that!

I would create a range of creamy and/or metallic lipsticks in shades of bronze, orange/red, rosy nude and ginger. The brand I would choose to create these would be Colour Pop – their lipsticks are not expensive and they have the capabilities to produce excellent lipsticks.

I’d make a shade like MAC’s LE (from long ago – the Daphne Guinness collection, I think) Red Dwarf or else MAC’s Red Necessity – both gorgeous reds, though the latter was a bit brighter and shinier. It would have a longer lasting but cream finish and I’d call it “Stick Around” (both in terms of availability and of wear).
