MAC Cosmetics - Blue Storm, Gentle Fume Quad, Cumulus Look
I used Aire de Blu pigment on lid, Rondelle eyeshadow on inner lid, Cumulus eyeshadow on middle of lid, Blue Storm eyeshadow on outer lid, Waft eyeshadow on outer crease, Gentle Fume eyeshadow above crease, Rondelle eyeshadow on brow and inner lower lash line, and Mystery kohl power on lower lash line. I wore Cantaloupe blush with Emote blush to contour on my cheeks. I had Mellow Rave lipstick with Bare Truth lipglass on my lips.
That looks wonderful, I have that quad and I was wondering if you were going to so show the look for that one, I also would like to add the silver pigment with mine to make the cumulus stand out more. Can you do the other quad also? GREAT JOB!!!
Thanks, Tiffany!! 🙂 Silver pigment would definitely make Cumulus stand out more! I’ll try!
awesome pics!!! i love the vibrant colors, i’m looking forward to more color for fall. i thought you might like the party purple by flirt cosmetics, really fun and affordable. fyi, they’re having a giveaway this month http://www.flirtcosmetics.com/wink/, everyday a winner gets a free product. keep up the great posts;)
Thanks, Stacy! I appreciate the heads up about the giveaway!
Ooo, I like how this blue is kinda bright but still wearable…your foundation looks so luminous and pretty, too! What one do you use?
Thanks, Sophie! I use Studio Fix Fluid, but the secret is I use the 182 brush to apply it 🙂
this looks great! you can rock any color. i like it, smokey blue but not over the top 🙂
Thanks, Crissy! I thought I’d tone down one of the blue looks to make it more wearable for others 🙂
After I get over being scared of scarlet I will try to conquer my fear of blue. This look is really pretty but not in-your-face-lunch-lady blue. It looks great on you!
Haha! I think blue is an easier fear to conquer over scarlet… at least… for me it was 😉
Thanks girl!
You are an eye shadow genius. Seriously, you are an idol to makeup mavens everywhere!!!
Aww, thanks SKB!! I appreciate your sweet comment!
I just bought the eyeshadow Blue Storm and i find it looks A LOT like Naval Blue pigment with a lil bit less shimmer.
Really? Thanks for sharing this insight, Cristine!
what would you recommend a good base for the color blue sorm? I really want to make it pop.
Blue pigment would be the best possible, but you can also try Sea Me (I think that’s the name…) shadestick, which is blue.
