I have a “chopping block” bucart with a few palettes I want to try one more time to see if I want to keep or give away so one of them? Right now it contains Morphe X Jacyln Hill Armed and Gorgeous, Too Faced Natural Eyes Matte and Milani’s Earthly Elements. I know I’ll keep the Milani so it will probably be one of the other two!

Just based on quality & not current drama I would say any of my Kylie Palettes. I find the quality subpar for the price (they were gifted though!)

I’m currently in the middle of that predicament. There are four or five eyeshadow palettes that I’m on the fence about but if I’m being completely honest, probably ABH Riviera. I’m just keeping it for the Yacht shade at the moment. I’m making it a goal to use all the palettes I’m not sure about this month to see if I should keep them or give them away to friends/family.

TF Gingerbread (the one from 2018) . I’m not wearing pinks and purples these days and I have shades similar to the browns, rusts, and golds in other palettes. In fact, I let go of it last week (close enough to include here I think) and included it in a package for Project Beauty Share. If I had to pick something I currently own, it would be Modern Renaissance, which I never reach for except to use a few colors as transition shades with the Jackie Aina palette.

Viseart Coy, once u buy a ND there’s just no going back for what it offers in shimmer, matte and metallics. Viseart is probably my most “normal/generic” formula I own. To be fair, I already de cluttered UD Naked 2x Jaclyn Hill Morphe 1, and Becca Apres Ski

Viseart Brights or Huda Electric. I just don’t use brights so it’s really unnecessary for me to have them.

I just decluttered my Ace Beaute Paradise palettes and my Natasha Denona Aeris palette. On the fence about whether to get rid of the Joya palette.

I can make most palettes work so would only get rid of something on principle and must confess I got the Shane x Jeffree palette last year and it’ll be the first to go.

The IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Palette. Got a lot of good use out of it and its a nice enough formula but I have all of those shades in other palettes and/or as singles now in formulas I prefer so it just sits there not getting used. I will probably gift it to a friend who will use it, it’s what I used on her for her wedding so she has some sentimental attachment to it.

Hmm well now Christine’s answer has me thinking of UD palettes. Does anyone recall the Gwen Stefani eye shadow palette? That is my earliest memory of a UD palette that disappointed me. Quality wise, it just wasn’t up to par with previous UD experiences. The pigment/color payoff was very poor for UD. Since then, it’s been hit and miss with the eye shadows in particular the palettes. I’m really not sure but I think maybe L’oreal bought UD awhile back? I’ve always wondered if that’s when I first started to notice the eye shadows seemed to be different somehow.

Too faced sweet peach it’s the less impressive and more lackluster palette of my stash. So it will be my very first choice. The pigmentation is defenetly weak. You can pack layer and layer of product, but you cannot go further a certain treshold of pigmentation . Second choice is the abh Norvina palette. Nothing really wrong with this palette, is easy to achieve a good level of pigmentation, but I’m not so crazy neither about the colour story, nor that overly powdery abh formula. So the Norvina it’s probabily my last used palette. I’m forcing myself to get more use of this since I’ve bought it, but It will be never the first palette which come in my mind when I am inspired for a eylook

Some cheaper palettes from Makeup Revolution I thought I absolutely needed (I didn’t). I should get rid of my Tom Ford quad, no idea what it’s called. It’s OK, but I can only make it work for one simple look as the two glittrier shades are on the very sheer side, and have loads of fall downs. I have forced myself to use this for one week each year since I bought it as it was expensive, but I don’t enjoy that week at all. 😀
There are probably other ones, but these are the ones I can think of without going upstairs to have a look.

Any of my all matte, all neutral palettes (my fault of course for having more than 1!) I’m never drawn to use them. Almost all my more interesting palettes also have neutral mattes, so I don’t have break out these. I guess I thought I’d start using all matte looks sometimes, and would want the convenience?? I don’t know. My former self is not taking interviews at this time.
