Something must be wrong with me. I bought this on Monday actually believing I would get a cool-toned purplish look, and it was violet instead of anything remotely lilac the way I was imagining I’d get out of it! I DO love the look you did with it, though.

So Nancy, I’m seeing this as a lilac palette and am I wrong? I was just going to comment that this was not what I was expecting, meaning, I like the lilac feel this palette has over the massive number of pink and red palettes surfacing for Valentine’s Day. I do not actually own many lilac shadows and it’s a scheme which works well for me.

It skews warmer, more violet toned on me than cooler, lilac hues that I was hoping to get from it. There are some dusty rose type shades in it, too. I seriously thought those were going to be beigey brown transition shades! The browbone shade goes on pinkish, as well. It is a pretty palette, don’t get me wrong. But I have both the It’s My Pleasure and Lilac You A Lot Palettes, so I didn’t need more warm toned purples.

Another pink/mauve themed palette from CP…..the swatches look pretty good and there is an array of colour tones from light to dark. I think it will be of good value.
