What It Dew Spray, $30.00 (New, Permanent)
This mist quickly revives skin with the hydration it needs to look and feel its best before, during, or after makeup. Made with a complex of herbal extracts like borage and cornflower to help hydrate skin, the rose-scented formula absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel sticky, leaving a natural, dewy glow.
Oohhh, if only Cheeky gloss bomb was made permanent as well! ?
I have all 3 full size glosses and a mini of Sweet Mouth from a holiday set that also came with a mini highlighter. I didn’t buy the Glossy Posse set but I’d be interested to see how the chocolate shade looks on very fair skin. I’m skipping the clear gloss because I’d only use it over lipsticks but I hate having to clean it off every time before putting it back in the tube, which is why I barely use Diamond Milk
I am extremely happy that they are making Hot Chocolit permanent. It’s such a beautiful gloss. My favorite from the 2019 holiday set. Also, I’m happy they’re coming out with a clear option.
Thrilled to see Hot Chocolit made permanent and full-sized! Love my mini of this shade, but have been stingy with it for fear of it running out. Don’t have to worry about that anymore!
Also, that lipstick trio is a very good deal, I believe!
Glad to see these gloss bombs being added to the permanent lineup. The Fenty releases are always so well thought out. I think she really listens to what her customers want. Hope to see PMG follow suit and start making her limited edition motherships permanent.
I love facial mists. I realize they’re really probably of somewhat limited value in any real terms but still, I like them and I’m sure I’ll want at least to sample this one in store (which will likely lead to buying it because, as I said, I love facial mists!)
Great release; I’m glad she brought back Hot Chocolit! I didn’t want a bunch of minis just Hot Chocolit so, it’ll be mine. I’m definitely interested in the spray, just need to see the ingredients before I buy.
I’m sorry to constantly hammer on about ingredients in your posts Christine, but I was wondering something. Polyethylene terephthalate (spelled that right first try!) is one of the ingredients to look out for in glitter, and is a plastic compound. It’s also in the Fenty glosses, so now I’m wondering whether to keep buying them or not. I’ve read that they’re inert when ingested and I’ve also read that they can be carcinogenic. Did you come across anything in your research for your glitter post about PET in lip products? Would love to hear your thoughts! <3
Hi Liz,
PET glitter is permitted for all cosmetic use per EU CosIng (no restrictions). The study I linked by CIR looks at PET glitter generally, so you can refer to that. Everything I used to write that post was linked so I’d say check that since it was a report about PET glitter in cosmetics, generally, but also went into more depth to address (and test) use on eyes! 🙂 https://www.cir-safety.org/sites/default/files/ModTer_032013_rep.pdf
I can’t speak to the formulation or safety of this type of glitter but I did read some reviews that said people could feel the glitter in the iridescent gloss from the holiday set. That was the one main one people mentioned and mostly when they pressed their lips together. I have all of the full size permanent glosses and I’ve never felt any glitter so it could be that specific shade.
The lipstick shades look lovely and I think it is great that the brand includes lipsticks as well as lip glosses.
I’m so happy to see Hot Chocolit as a full size! I’m glad I held off getting the mini set because I was really only interested in this shade, and maybe the red.
I love them all and only wish that a couple had a little more pigmentation since my lips are so pigmented. Having said that, as I was looking down the arm swatches, I was shocked on reading the fourth name until I realized I had misread it. WOW, where was my head? !!!
I am so glad Hot Chocolit is permanent! I wanted to buy this with the holiday set but didn’t want the other colors.
