- Haul/Rediscoveries: Pat McGrath Galactic Gold, Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Glosses, Fenty Eyeshadow Palettes
- Weekend plans: Fingers crossed that the freeways/highways in central California open up (closed for snow on Thursday) so that my parents can safely drive from northern California to Arizona. It never feels like the holidays until they arrive because hubby and I don’t do much on Christmas ourselves. We spend Christmas Eve celebrating Mellan’s birthday (he turned 12!), but most of the time is spent working a bit more than usual in preparation for my parents’ visit! So… hopefully, my parents arriving safely and hanging out with them this weekend.
- Do you have any non-beauty resolutions for 2020?: I don’t make resolutions, but I always try to eat better in the beginning of the year… after we make our way through whatever food my mom has cooked/brought to us, LOL!

Happy birthday, Mellan! He sure loves his plushies. It’s nice to see him playing a bit. Praying your parents will be able to get through to visit!

I got some very nice non-makeup related gifts, too. I’m truly blessed and very thankful.
*Dreaming Tree Soapworks — Harvest Moon Luxury Soap (gift for someone), Butterbeer Luxury Soap, Butterbeer Aromatic Elixir Perfume, Mystic Mists in Faerie Frost (gift for someone), Yule Queen (Christmas in a bottle!), and Apple Troll.
*Amazon — a few makeup clear acrylic organizers for blushes and lipsticks.
Weekend plans: Today, after he gets off work, we’re taking our youngest out to eat and to pick out his new cell phone and smartwatch he wanted for Christmas. Tomorrow, hubby and I hope to finally get our date night and see the new Star Wars movie. It didn’t work out for earlier in the week. Other than that, just the usual chores.
Our older son caught a virus, most likely at the Magic the Gathering convention he went to right before Christmas, so I’m praying the rest of us don’t catch it and spend the week sick instead of getting stuff done. I just finished a second round of antibiotics for my sinus infection, and I don’t fancy getting another infection so soon!
Do you have any non-beauty resolutions for 2020?: I don’t make resolutions.
My PML Dark Galaxy and Galactic Gold palettes arrived just now! Selfridge’s actually did a decent job packing them, and they arrived in perfect condition. I’m still salty about what a PITA they were to order, but they sure are pretty!
That’s a lovely haul you have there Rachel and I hope you feel well enough to play with them this weekend. I hope your son can find a good post Christmas day bargain for his smartwatch and cell phone.
Enjoy your date night out Rachel – both my sons are seeing the new Star Wars movie on New Year’s Eve (during the day).
Best wishes on not catching the nasty virus.. it took me two bottles of antibiotics to get rid of my sinus infection this year, it was really horrible.
And congratulations on getting your Dark Galaxy and Galactic Gold palettes… you were very lucky.
Thank you. Sorry you got so sick. So far I haven’t caught Aaric’s bug, but Brandon is starting to get a sore throat.
It turns out Brandon doesn’t need a new cell phone, which is nice. The local AT & T store was out of smart watches, but we can order one for him online.
I’ve heard mixed reviews are the Star Wars movie, but we’re going Sunday. A monkey wrench got thrown in today. I’ll be wearing one of my new Star Wars palettes, for sure! And one of my Covergirl Star Wars lipsticks (From the last movie? I don’t remember. lol).
Oh Mellan looks so content with his birthday toy. I hope your parents are able to drive over to see you.
Haul: SG Vibrant Madness and Down the Coast (both cream shadows).
Weekend plans: I’ve no idea. That’s the benefit of being retired. We always find things to do but we don’t plan out our non-travel days much. We may go out for a while on NYEE (Monday).
Resolutions: I’m not one to do any New Year’s resolutions. But we did recently take up intermittent fasting (we are doing the 16/8 (fast/eat) one which is pretty easy for us) and are enjoying how much better we feel.
I personally do 16/8 two days a week, with 12/12 the other days. From time to time I try a 18/6 or a 20/4, I really feel it resets my body, but I’m not trying to push my body (if I feel too dizzy I call it quits). I try to be water fasted as much as I can, but I’ll sometimes slowly introduce coffee first.
For me intermittent fasting (occasionally) improves my focus and digestion, my overall well-being.
But I do think it’s not for everybody and each should find their own way to do it, not just follow a `recipe` online. Good luck and good health in your journey!
I know from experience that I wouldn’t be able to handle any of the other fasts. Going too long without food is a migraine trigger for me. It sounds like a great way to recharge your body and reset things though, so admire your doing it occasionally.
Haul: Nope, but there was *supposed* to be! And I’m still feeling the burn and deep disappointment from yesterday morning just after 6 am.
Weekend plans: Still fighting this same cold as a week ago. So, a very light duty weekend, or so I hope. Hair will still get done tomorrow. Meeting will still be Sunday’s plan. Today, I have to call building maintenance about the one knob in my shower that doesn’t completely turn off anymore.
Non-beauty New Year resolutions? None. I don’t actually do NY resolutions in any traditional sense, as they occur at any time of year instead of a set date. Anything I ever resolve to do, I’m very quiet about. I just jump in and do whatever it takes to make those changes.
Hope the building maintenance be quick to solve the issue, given this time of the year.
I completely forgot this morning that there was a water shutdown in my building, I washes my face with bottled water since I woke up late. 😆
Poor you, Ana Maria! I’d have freaked out if I woke up to my water turned off.
Fortunately, he just arrived a few minutes ago. I just hope he can repair it today. I cannot stand the sound of water running overnight!
What a pain in the neck it has been for you lately Nancy – what with your cold, the shower knob and now the whole PMG issue with the Decadence palette…..
It has been one unpleasant week and then some, Genevieve! And now this cold has gone into my right lung, which really hurts every time I cough. Gotta pull myself together to go to the store for more lozenges, soup and ice cream. Yes, ice cream, even though it’s very chilly here now, because of how soothing it feels.
Now that sounds serious Nancy – are you on antibiots for this cold? I can understand why you would like ice cream though. I hope the supermarket isn’t too far away for you to travel to.
Nancy…I totally feel your pain. I had the same experience trying to purchase Shane Dawson’s Conspiracy Pallet. It dropped @10am and @9:59 all the platforms crashed. When and if I could finally get items in my cart it was all sold out. I still feel the burn!!!
Shelley, I am so sorry that you had to go through this mess, too, with the Shane Dawson collection! These retail sites need to do much, much better than this. It’s becoming the Hunger Games trying to get LE makeup lately!
You didn’t get the Decadence Palette? Really? I know how much you wanted it, so sorry! I was hoping you’d finally get it.
The PMG SW LE was really bad. it left many of us disappointed and annoyed.
Hope you’ll feel better soon, colds can take a long time to get rid of.
PMG did a truly TERRIBLE job with both this release as well as Divine Rose Mothership VII and the whole Cyber Monday lipstick debacle. To say I’m disappointed is a vast understatement. Me and thousands of others.
This cold seems to be turning into something worse. Might need to get in to an Urgent Care center later today or tomorrow. Trying to avoid that if at all possible, though.
I was so annoyed, I thought I’d never buy from her again. I got an order confirmation on the 13th and the cancellation mail on the 18th for the two 6 pan palettes and one of the lipsticks. I mean, five (5) days!
I wrote to them, asking if they were to restock, but got a:
“Thank you for reaching out to us!
The Star Wars Collection was Limited Edition and we have no plans to restock.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
xx Candiss, Customer Care”
back.
I’m sort of over it, but I think it was sloppy and I expected more from the brand
I hope you get all the help needed to get rid of the cold.
Take care, Nancy!
I hope you’ll be OK? Did you go to Urgent Care? I hope you’re not heading for bronchitis or pneumonia. Praying.
I also hope the repair man got your issue completely fixed.
I hope you feel better soon, Nancy! I still have an outstanding Cyber Monday lipstick order that has half cancelled but not shipped even though I was told it was being prepped for shipping before the second cancellation . I’m sorry you didn’t get the Decadence palette. I didn’t get it either. I wish I could pre-order the palette and stop chasing it down. I don’t make New Year’s resolutions but ‘stop engaging in futile efforts’ might be a good way to start the next decade.
OMG, I just read about Mellan’s accident. I’m SO sorry!!! Our family dog was a high strung jumper (partly pom), he tore his ACL 3 different times, in 3 different legs, was painful. The whole family, including the kids, had to chip in for each of his surgeries. I hope Mellan feels better soon, and you can get some rest. Between Mellan and the avalanche of products to swatch/review during the holidays, it must be very stressful for you. I’m in Northern CA, so I know about the bad weather and terrible traffic on those Central CA freeways. I hope your parents can make the long drive safely, and can provide help and holiday cheer, there’s nothing quite like Mom’s home cooking!

You have collected quite a few lovely makeup hauls there Katherine. The SG ones are beautiful, especially Troops.
I hope the weather in your area hasn’t been too atrocious (rain, sleet, snow) and that you were able to enjoy your Christmas.
Hi, Genevieve, hope you had a lovely holiday season! I was going to skip Troops but several bloggers said it was a “must buy”, so I threw it into my cart, thank goodness I did! It’s my fave out of the bunch. It’s been dry as a bone here ( unseasonably warm/hot and no significant rain for 6 months in San Francisco ), and we were facing the prospect of drought again next year, then a series of big storms dumped a bunch of rain here in Dec, so we are good for 2020, don’t know about 2021 though. I’m so sorry to hear about all the horrible wildfires in Australia, we’ve had our share here, hoping there will be some rain for you soon.
Thank you Katherine – we had a wonderful Christmas Day, a little bit too hot and humid, but not like 40 deg. C. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
You can never predict what the coming season will bring anymore – either lots of rain or none at all. The wildfires are still burning, some of which were started by arsonists unfortunately and others by lightning. But the areas affected were so dry because of the drought. Your region has certainly been so affected by bushfire too.
I have recently purchased some SG eyeshadows and Troops was in my list. It’s a perfect cool toned taupe shade and I am in love with the metallic finish. It goes so well with everything else I have.
I hope you had a lovely Christmas too.
Troops is absolutely stunning. I’m glad you got it. Smoke Show is dark, but the silvers and shimmers help brighten it up.
Haul: Nothing again! While I did get some very nice gifts from my spouse, none of them were beauty related.
Weekend plans: For once I’m not sure. Our weekends have been so jam-packed lately that we decided to take it easy this weekend. We’ll definitely go out for some sort of “date night” but it’s my spouse’s weekend to plan and they haven’t told me what the plan is. All I know is we’re not going down into Seattle proper because we’ve been down that way every weekend recently.
New Years resolutions: I’m not a resolution maker, but my spouse and I have started talking about goals and plans for 2020, both together and individually. One big one is to get rid of our house back in AZ by the end of the year, as it’s been an albatross around our neck for too long.
Sending warm, safe wishes for your family to make it down from northern California! That is a loooong drive even without weather complications!
I hope your partner has a lovely, relaxing weekend install for you AJ – and I hope you do get to sell your home in AZ, it’s a long way from Seattle to AZ to check on it.
Enjoy your weekend.
My partner decided that our date night should be a jaunt to the next town over which has a really cute main street area. After they told me that, I saw that it was the last day for their “holiday trolley” so I suggested we include that in our plan as well. The trolley is a little bus with wooden benches and holiday decor, it was pretty cute! It does a circuit of the area and there’s a guide who tells you what is at each stop and gives suggestions (like “the wine shop here has tasting going until 4pm”). We checked out some of the local shops, had dinner at a new Mexican restaurant we read about in the paper (solidly OK, we’re picky about Mexican since we got spoiled in AZ!), and had nice fancy tea drinks at a coffee shop. We were going to visit a brewery too but the margaritas at dinner were a little too strong, LOL. Plus it was getting rainy so we went home and had a quiet rest of the evening with our dog. Basically, just what I wanted!
Hope you had a lovely weekend too!
Haul/Rediscoveries: Nothing beauty wise this week, but I’ll soon be needing a new cleanser and eye cream so I’m waiting for some end of year deals.
Weekend plans: I’m hoping to get a good long hike on Saturday (last Saturday I enjoyed a 4-hours one that `healed` my soul), do some grocery shopping afterwards and then relax at home. On Sunday I want to do a mini city trip, maybe re-visiting some museums in San Francisco; if not, maybe visit a small city nearby with lots of vintage shops, I want to buy some vintage pin-up inspired cards to mail post-holidays (I’m not a traditionalist, I usually sent cards and gift disregarding holidays 😆 )
Do you have any non-beauty resolutions for 2020? Well… I don’t believe in resolutions, especially the ones that start on a Monday or at the beginning of the year. I believe in starting `now`, so my `resolutions` are not related to 2020. I’m just wish to grow more professionally (although my boss and co-workers argue, I feel in a big rut right now) and to try and get more sleep (there were long periods I mostly lived on 5-6 hours of sleep). Also, in the past I had as a resolution to call my grandmother more often (which in the last months I did), and I hope to also make more time to call a friend of mine from college (different time zones and her having two small children makes timing hard). I’m also proud that I’m making progress in my resolution to be generate less waste, be more sustainable and environmentally focused.
Otherwise I feel quite good with my path. I love my healthy lifestyle, I wouldn’t change nothing to my nutrition (fun fact, I started the change on a Friday, August 22nd , not a Monday or January 1st); but I wish to get stronger (increase the weight I lift). Maybe another resolution would be getting a more strict workout program. 😀
I love visiting little, quaint country towns and villages with vintage shops that sell homecrafted things. I really prefer to support the local community by purchasing from these kinds of places rather than the chain stores.
That’s a lovely resolution to contact your grandmother and friend, I am sure both would appreciate your friendship.
Best wishes on moving forward professionally and improving your sleep habits.
Haul: (Really these were Xmas Gifts) I got a ginormous ring light and filming set up, a few morphe detailing brushes and the continuous setting mists, the Kylie cosmetics sipping pretty palette (I wanted to try something I’d never purchase with my own money LMAO) , benefit bad gal BANG mascara, fenty beauty setting powder, and a sephora gift card!
Weekend plans: Nope! I cleared my schedule to play with all my gifts lol
Resolutions: I NEVER set them. Social media does a great job of adding unintentional pressure on people (As SOON as I open twitter, there’s always a tweet about how I should own a stupid house and have kids by age 25 and i’m OVER IT.) My plan for next year is to say “Yes” more often. I just turned 23 on the 6th and there’s sooooo many things I haven’t done yet so I wanna do it all!
Have fun playing with your Christmas gifts Bleu – and I really do get what you are saying about social media bossing readers around and dictating how others should live their lives. Happy Birthday for the 6th and tread your own path!
Its so annoying! I miss the days where everyone was just fine with going their own way lol & Thanks for the sweet message!
I’m a generation ahead of you, and we sure didn’t own a house by age 25. How on earth would you all be able to with how dreadful the economy is now? Much less afford kids at the same time. It sounds to me like you have an awesome attitude, and you’re doing great!
That’s exactly how I feel! I don’t even really know what I wanna do with my career let alone kids or a house! & Thank you for the sweet message!
I got some lovely gift cards from my family; the hubs and I decided to make our major gift to ourselves this year a Nordictrack treadmill so we didn’t do too much gift-wise. However, my middle son gifted me a Sephora card and I was able to pick up the NARS Free Lover blush palette on sale. I had good luck before with their Guy Bourdin blush palette, and this one seemed even better with my Spring coloring. So far, I am very pleased with my decision. Also decided to try the ABH Luminous foundation which is ok so far….jury is still out, but I don’t hate it after two days so I’m cautiously optimistic.
Hope your parents can make it out to see you! SoCal has had the weirdest weather — I woke up to a tornado warning the other day and was just baffled because that’s not at all normal for us.
I have a bunch of resolutions, but all are related to my running and teaching, and the challenges of balancing both these things (see above treadmill purchase lol). I did a 5k this morning and while it hurt, I was impressed I could finish at all since it’s been almost two weeks since I laced up my shoes.
Well done for running the 5k Brandi – you must be fitter than you thought you were.
Ilene- light skin, dry, dk green eyes, dk brown hair
Happy Birthday to Mellan! I hope your parents can visit you.
Plans- tomorrow is my 33rd wedding anniversary so we will go to a movie and out for a nice dinner. My daughter will help/do my eye
makeup so I’ll share that as on my own I am boring and repetitive.
Not much in the way of a haul- I did get a Nordstrom gc that I will use to visit the spa. I received but I haven’t tried yet one of the new Bobbi glosses from sephora.
Kitty, I’d love to hear more about the intermittent fasting which I was sort of trying but I do want to try more consistently. I am not a breakfast nor a late night eater so it should not be too hard. I also need to cut back on sweets.
Nancy, I was wondering what the 6am disappointment was and I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed.
I also ordered some body creams and hand soaps from bath and body works.
I hope everyone has a nice weekend!
Hi Ilene, it was the Pat McGrath x Star Wars Decadence Mothership Palette. Early Access began at 8 AM EST, I’m in MST, so 6 AM here. I had it in my cart, hit PayPal to make my payment, when PayPal redirected me back to Pat McGrath, I got the notice that it was sold out. This still makes NO sense to me, as I was allowed to go through PayPal? Nothing was withdrawn from my bank account, but still very disappointing.
Hi Nancy,
That’s such a disappointment. Hopefully, there will be another release that’s better handled.
Enjoy the weekend!
Ilene
Ilene, the 16-hour fast is super easy once you get into the routine, especially for someone like you who doesn’t eat breakfast or eat late at night. Based on whatever we’ve got going that day, and if we don’t feel super hungry (like if we seemed to eat more the day before), we choose when to start. Sometimes it’s breakfast or we start later and have brunch, or eat breakfast and skip lunch. We’re earlier dinner eaters so usually the 8 hours are 9 to 5 or 10 to 6. We gave up most sweets several months ago after husband got a slight out-of-range A1C, and as you’ve probably found out, once you get over the hump of doing without them, they aren’t missed much at all. (We do eat occasionally special recipe brownies and muffins we developed that are lower carb and lower sugar.) Sticking to 8 hours also makes it harder to justify snacking after dinner, which we used to do frequently. We don’t stick to this program every day, of course, but try for most of the time.
Hi Kitty,
Thank you for your response and sharing how the intermittent fasting is working for you and your husband. I will look to be more consistent. Enjoy the weekend!
Ilene
Happy anniversary!
Happy Anniversary Ilene and it’s so nice to have a daughter come and do your eye makeup – how lovely.
Hi Kitty,
Thank you for your response and sharing how the intermittent fasting is working for you and your husband. I will look to be more consistent. Enjoy the weekend!
Ilene
Happy Birthday to Mellan and many more!
Haul/Rediscoveries: Pat McGrath Decadence Palette that I will patiently wait to receive.
Weekend plans: I am not feeling great today so I’m not making any plans for the weekend.
Do you have any non-beauty resolutions for 2020?: Get working on packing up my house so that we can move in September.
You are still not feeling well Brenda?
Packing up your house is a very hard, tedious and mind boggling procedure. You will need all your strength for that!
Congrats on getting Decadence! I hope you feel better soon.
I do hope Mellon continues to heal well, he is so much a part of this blog. Happy Birthday to him for the 24th. He certainly looks to be enjoying his birthday toy, just like a little puppy. Get well, our sweet boy.
I also wish for a safe travel for your parents, coming over the mountains in snowy conditions, to arrive well. It is a long journey and I hope that you get some geniune downtime to spend with them.
Haul: The Pixi Beauty Mixed Metals was on a generous sale so I purchased it for the beautiful metallic shades that I am so much in love with at the moment.
A couple of the Natio Spa gel body cleansers too – they are fabulous on a hot day.
I also purchased some skincare products (cleanser, moisturiser) by A’kin that was on sale as well. Other than that, nothing else really grabbed me.
It was a bit sad that Mecca, one of our own beauty retailers to rival Sephora, made a big deal out of their post Christmas sales, only when you walk into the shop, there was just a very small table of them……welcome to sales Aussie style….
Weekend Plans
It’s going to be ferociously hot this weekend coming, so I have not really planned to do much. I gave the house a really good cleanout on Friday from the Christmas gathering in preparation for the heat.
Our Christmas dinner went really well, with all concerned enjoying the meal (5 salads – all really healthy) and their gifts.
The very happy news we had from our son Nicholas and daughter in law Anika, is that they are expecting another baby sometime in late August/early September. We are overjoyed at the news – Olivia will be at school, Lachlan at kinder, so getting out of the house on time is certainly going to be interesting for them. Anika is really well and healthy and feeling good. Just as well I haven’t passed on the baby toys, high chair and good baby clothes…
Non Beauty Resolutions: To keep decluttering out the house and hope that my husband similarly gets rid of his ‘stuff’.
To re-landscape our front garden and plant some more flowers and herbs around our courtyard area.
Congrats Genevieve!!! I’m sure you are looking forward to the new grandkid!
Thank you Katherine, I was pretty sure that my son and daughter in law were going to have a third child, so it was about ‘when’ it was going to happen.
We are delighted as we are a very baby orientated family and now that Lachlan is older, he is such a placid and sweet natured child, that he will be a perfect older brother. They have decided not to find out the gender of the baby, so it will be a surprise for all.
Oh, congratulations on the upcoming baby!!! How exciting! Do Olivia and Lachlan know yet?
Mixed Metals looks lovely. I’m glad you found a good sale on it.
Oh my gosh that video of Mellan is too precious.
Hauls/rediscoveries: Rummaged through a box of makeup my bff didn’t want anymore, came away with a bunch of good stuff. I feel a bit better about my makeup shopping habits now though!
Weekend plans: Laundry, cleaning, yoga, planning my costume for the 2010s themed new years party I’m going to. I’m thinking something like one of the four horsemen of the retail apocalypse?
Do you have any non-beauty resolutions for 2020?: Eh, nothing that’s not a goal I already had in mind. I gotta be gluten free for a whole year now before I can try reintroducing it, though, so that’ll be fun. -_-
Sooo cute!!!
Haul/Discovery: I picked up from Morphe the Vacay brush set and the 35H Hot Spot Artistry eyeshadow pallet. From NARS I picked up the Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder (I’m so annoyed looking horrible in pics LoL), Powermatte Lip Pigment in American Women, and an eyelash curler I have been in need of. Thank From Fourth Ray I grabbed two kits Seriously Good Serums and Mist N’ Match…still trying to take advantage of sales and thank goodness for AFTERPAY!!!
PS: Update-Ive been complaining about ColourPop and I’m happy to say after much back and forth
Weekend Plans: Just hang with my babies (3 dogs) and try to find a good series from Net Felix or something…any suggestions?
Non Beauty Resolutions for 2020: I have sooo many awesome recipes I’ve collected through the year, so my resolution is to experiment with as many recipes and not just resort to the same old.
PS: I’d like to update regarding my complaint about ColourPop…after much back and forth, I’m so pleased to say that they will replace the eyeshadow pallet I received in horrible condition.
HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR EVERBODY!!!
I apologize for not editing more careful?
Haul: Nothing!
Rediscoveries: I haven’t been wearing a whole lot of makeup this week, except for Christmas Eve/Day… I really like the combo of my L’Oreal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear with my CoverGirl + Olay Advanced Radiance Foundation. Really beautiful coverage and there’s something about that CoverGirl foundation that is magical…my skin almost looks better when I remove it at the end of the day; its bizarre. I love it.
Weekend plans: Getting over my Christmas hangover (I didn’t even drink, lol), and getting my house back in order post-holiday-hosting.
Do you have any non-beauty resolutions for 2020?: I’ve been on a weight-loss/finding balance with food journey since September and I plan on continuing with that. I am happy to say that I didn’t gain any weight during the holidays, I actually lost weight, and I didn’t deprive myself of anything. I’m really happy about that.
I’m so glad Mellan is healing and that he is playing with his toys. Also a belated Happy Birthday, Mellan. Sending you nose kisses and a tummy rub (if you like those kinds of things) I’m sure your sweet mommy will be delighted passing them on to you, you pretty boy.
I hope your parents will be able to come to you. It’s quite a long drive, isn’t it.
Haul, nothing this week, I did order some stuff from various places and will hopefully have something next week.
Weekend, the usual and watching TV series on Netflix with my son.
NY resolutions, I don’t make any. I will keep the low buy, and try to do even better next year, but If I see something I know I will love, I will buy it.
Happy Happy Birthday, Mellan! I hope its your best one yet!
New discoveries that I am loving include Shiseido’s gel eyeliner for tight-lining. I think it is the first eyeliner that really doesn’t affect my contact lenses, and doesn’t smudge at all, plus it lasts nearly all day. Also, I broke down and purchased Revitalash about a month ago and wow how this stuff works! My lashes went from stubs to long, wispy, beautiful lashes.
Weekend plans: they kind of center around my New Year’s Resolution. Going to go to grocery store, buy healthy foods, and meal prep for the week. Losing some weight in general is this New Years resolution so exercise is included in this plan.
Hope you have a wonderful week!
Haul: Pre-ordered a few pieces from Chanel SS20 collection. Received Chanel for Christmas – Blurry Green quad, Stylo Yeux in Jasmine Green, Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue in Intense Rosewood, Rouge Allure Ink Fusion in Berry.
Weekend Plans: Am home for the holidays, so lots of visiting! Going to a friend’s house for game night on Saturday, and then over to my inlaws for dinner on Sunday.
Nonmakeup Resolutions: I don’t really make resolutions but I would like to be more decisive and dither less when making decisions. I’d also like to spend more time exercising.
Haul/Rediscoveries: Sephora Lipstories Celebrate and After Hours lipsticks, ColourPop x Disney Villains Jelly Much Spindle and Just Your Voice eyeshadows, Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 Amazing Amal lipstick, Fenty Killawatt Ruby Richez highlighter, Ariana Grande Moonlight perfume/lotion set (all Christmas gifts from my parents) and Shawn Mendes Signature (it’s a unisex fragrance) cologne/lotion set (Christmas gift from my aunt).
Weekend plans: Worked all day Friday, relaxed yesterday, ran errands today.
Do you have any non-beauty resolutions for 2020?: Best way to phrase it: Resolutions? What are those?
